Took this while out at the horribly low water level at Lake Mead. Massive fire around the Mt Potosi area. Did a small bonfire near the waters edge (plus I keep a 5 gallon camping roto-pack to extinguish + fire extinguisher in truck) and my usual spot *was* at the tree line where the waters edge USED to be a month or so ago.
Pretty sunset though.

Has Lake Mead's water level gone up in the past decade or two? Every time I heard about it, it was way down.

Idk. It seemed up 2 months ago as a by pass between govt-wash and 8mile was under water. Now that by pass is 200m from waters edge
