Europe told Donald Trump to sit down twice today.

The EU formally demanded the United States honor the trade agreement Trump signed in July, after he raised tariffs to 15% through a different legal loophole hours after the Supreme Court struck down his first ones. Greenland's prime minister rejected Trump's offer to send a hospital ship, pointed out that Greenland already provides free health care, and told the president of the United States to stop making "random outbursts on social media."

This is how countries behave when they have decided the current American government is not a credible partner. When allies stop being diplomatic, it means diplomacy failed.

My wife mentioned the PreCheck thing and I said it'll never happen. The people that have that are a) people who travel a lot for business and b) rich people who don't want to mix with the peasants.

When my daughter went off to school on the other side of the country, I considered it but just couldn't justify the cost. The wealthy and businesses want it so they get it. If it were something for the masses, it'd have been cut a long time ago.

You are completely correct. I was shocked on the number of members, but it makes sense. And fitting that they kept Global Entry closed.

Theres nothing i can add that i havent said over the months and months this amazing guy posts every day. Trump is a POS, I cant believe the majority of populace is just sitting in this spew, the GOP are a ton of liars, and the rest of the world is fed up with his antics.

Foreign affairs minister JN Barrot summons him for interference, probably as a retaliation for the sanctions against Thierry Breton

Thierry Breton is a European Commissioner who was basically barred from entering the US because he worked on regulating big tech in Europe. Know however, that this guy is a real peace of shit.

But it's the 2nd time the French government has summoned the American ambassador and he hasn't deigned to show. There's an update in today's post.

Good luck on yours, I was blindsided by mine this morning.. after having been on shift for 14 hours already... at least I got a 4% raise out of it.

I won't see 4%. Also, the % raise model is one of the things that needs to change, but I'll save that rant for another day.
