Denmark watched the United States kick in the doors in Caracas and deployed its military ten days later to make sure Greenland wasn't next.

That's what the world learned two days ago when Danish broadcaster DR published an investigation based on more than a dozen official sources. Copenhagen endured Trump's threats throughout 2025. He sent the vice president against their wishes in March and ran a covert influence operation all summer. After Thanksgiving he appointed the governor of Louisiana as a special envoy whose stated mission was "to make Greenland a part of the U.S."

Everyone said it was bluster, Trump being Trump, until January 3, when American special forces captured the president of Venezuela in his own capital and flew him to a jail cell in Brooklyn. The deputy chief of staff's wife posted an American flag over Greenland with one word: "SOON."

Denmark immediately deployed its military to defend Greenland. Soldiers carried explosives to destroy their own runways and blood from national hospitals to treat the wounded. Under a fake NATO exercise, France sent mountain infantry, special forces, a frigate, and tanker aircraft. Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Norway sent their own soldiers. Any American attack would mean firing on five allied nations at once.

Trump spent a year threatening to take Greenland and today called every one of those countries cowards on social media because they won't help him clean up the war he started in Iran. This should be the only story in America tonight and most people will never see it. Tell the people in your world who are understandably shying away from all the bad news these days. Make them understand that Europe was prepared to go to war with the United States sixty-seven days ago.

#5, yet another pump and dump scheme. It's clockwork now. Just has to have more extreme ways of doing it each time. #8 They used AI, to kill a bunch of kids and their rescuers. #9 Still no justice for Breonna Taylor. #1-18 we're in the dumbest fucking timeline.

You'd have to be living under a rock not to understand how easily one move from Trump could send Europe after us...but after having traveled through the middle on the U.S. I am never shocked by the depths of ignorance and lack of outside info. I think we need a manual way to share news that doesnt rely on internet algorithms or what TV channels you have access to. Bring back the 'Zines!

Local news broadcasting should NEVER have been permitted to be bought up by a monopolistic conglomerate. Sinclair Broadcasting did... and it's a far-right company. So it's pro-Trump.

#9 they murdered her and there will be no accountability. 🤬

“They killed a N——r, we like to reward that kind of behavior”

—Magat regime official somewhere

Not only that, but they brazenly fired multiple rounds that went into other apartments. It's a miracle that other people weren't killed. I watched the video of the investigator reviewing the scene after the fact and he was absolutely disgusted by their actions.

#3 Denmark was right to take the threat seriously. I think they need to stay on alert as long as Shitstain remains in power.

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It was classic abuser victim behavior. Called up their friends, formed an exit plan, and got out with their kid.

Im going to go drink heavily, and hope that when i come to that the news is better.

Great. The fat orange fuck is going after Columbia, and NOW thinks Costa Rica is a target next.

As someone with a father who legally immigrated to the US FROM COSTA RICA, who VOTED for Trump...I sincerely wonder how the fuck he's going to justify supporting this bullshit.

We literally have family there. We visted them in 2019...but honestly, it explains why he "suddenly lost contact" with them.

I want off this ride.

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry to learn about this and appreciate you sharing it. How scary, frustrating, and angering. I pray for your family's safety if things go sideways or that they can at least reach out.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

At least Greenland was taking this seriously. It's so easy to think he's blustering because everything he says sounds insane, but our murder machines are no joke.

RIP Breonna Taylor. She was murdered and will receive no justice.

Top of a very sleepy head.

Can someone explain #17 to me like I'm 5. Why does this need to be 'protected'

3 weeks ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

It already was. They played on an exclusive day

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

It doesn't.

3 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

it's called "virtue signaling" - a juvenile display of butt licking the military for the hicks on the very back row.

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Because in his mind he thinks this is showing him as supporting our troops.

3 weeks ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

This ^. It’s “rah rah go usa” and as dumb as some people are, it might shockingly even work at some level. It’s frankly insulting, but most of his moves are. Also, he’s probably getting some kickbacks by forcing that game to be the only show in town at that time.

#5 "Winding down" the war that we already [allegedly] "won"? Fucking syphilis brained douchewaffle

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Again, yikes. Thank you, George

Yikes is right. Today was a bit slower, but no less scary.

#3. I find the wording etc. skewed. When deploying the military bring equipment for the worst thinkable scenario. In this case, USA invading. The force wouldn't make any meaningful military difference, but raised the diplomatic stakes of USA. Meaning that USA couldn't just walk in to the local police station and declare ownership, but might have to fire upon "allied" military thereby escalating the situation. I highly doubt that the <100 Danes were to fire, but the doubt is enough to deter.

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It was a pretty significant deployment as you point out in terms of the militaries they represented. There might have only been soldiers numbering under 200 from the nations combined, but it's the idea of firing on French or German or any other nation's troops.

And to be fair, Denmark did say that they were to engage militarily.

I truly think the runway destruction would have bought them more time.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Of course Denmark said they were to engage militarily, otherwise the deployment would have been pointless. The difference is if the order would stand if USA sent troops. Would Denmark truly sacrifice those soldiers lives to make a point.

Buy them more time to do what exactly?

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think it actually stops the US cold. And it would buy them to invoke a full NATO diplomatic response, and if necessary, a military one. The U.S. military knows that. Faced with allied troops defending an innocent country's land, I can't imagine that the military follows any kind of attack order from Trump.

Granted it was apparently brinksmanship, but it was really well done.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The alternative was having a couple of C130s land with ~200 U.S. troops who inform the JAC in Nuuk that Greenland is now under U.S. control.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never has the Executive Order been so abused than by this fuck stick.

3 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

If Congress was doing its job, those executive orders could be countered or dismissed. Also, the SCOTUS... Chief Justice John Roberts... gave a stinging opinion that anything the president does is, by nature, a "presidential duty." I guess that even means taking a shit. And has he ever taken a shit all over the 99% in this country. Roberts should be forced to amend his statement or resign.

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

And never has Congress been so feckless.

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The real issue. They would've been able to halt many things, even if forcing a true Constitutional crisis.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#5 What makes him think Iran wants to 'wind down the war"/incursion/already-won?

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is a fine point. And they've expanded their reach to ~2,500 miles. That puts Eastern and maybe Central Europe potential targets.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And with a "malignant narcissist" [look up the def, it's like his biography] running this country, I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to take it further!

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Completely agree with the diagnosis and the outlook.
