He either was drunk, or didn't own the vehicle...

fancy car got so much damage from a simple traffic sign post.
Poor quality, I wouldnt want such a car.

Of course not, you'd want one that kills the driver instead which is the other option... Crumple zones exist for a reason.

Is the penalty in England for impaired driving less than leaving the scene of an accident?

That's what I was thinking, too. Dude is dressed way too nice to be a car thief.

Yes, and that's the likely reason for him running.

It is pretty much everywhere I think.

if he's smart he's running to a bar or home where he immediately starts drinking

Personally I kinda wish he'd get run over on his way home. That he didn't kill innocent people by his drunk driving is sheer coincidence. I consider drunk driving like going through a neighbourhood randomly firing a gun while drunk, if no one gets injured it's by coincidence.

That's nit a smart move to be honest, hiding out until you are sober is better. Just don't hide home. They know where you live.

the result is the same: not knowing the amount of alcohol in the blood at the time of the accident

Not really, they can just use the BAC when they find you home drunk.

3 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

idk what a BAC is but if you drink at home how would they know how much?

3 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes but then they STILL won't know what your BAC was when you had the accident. There have been multiple instances of people getting off by doing that.
