The mower is protesting because that lawn doesn't need cutting.
So glad HOA's aren't really a thing in the UK, as my lawn is over due for it's first cut of the year. Probably going to have to strim it down first before I can use the mower on it.

Yeah, it would have to be under the deck. Any explosion related to the engine couldn't make it jump straight up like that.
