Looks like bleeding tooth/devil’s tooth/strawberry cream mushroom. Not exactly edible but supposedly not poisonous.Not sure about the spider

I was thinking the same thing. He looks like he's in pacific NW, and that's a pretty distinctive fungus, and it looks spicy on his tongue.

I thought you were supposed to rub it on increasingly sensitive tissues - arm, lips, gums... not just take a nibble...

Unless it's the apocalypse don't do this. X3 you can last surpringly long times without food. Just find clean water and get back to civ.
