Integrity in the Trump Administration

Nov 10, 2020 5:08 PM

Here, we see one more individual with the moral fortitude and integrity to stand up to the petulant and abhorrent actions of this President.

Richard Pilger, until his resignation, was the Director for the Election Crimes Branch.

Following a memo from AG Barr, authorizing federal prosecutors to pursue allegations of voting irregularities, Pilger submitted his resignation, citing a long-standing DOJ 40 year non-interference policy for ballot fraud investigations [in the period PRIOR to elections becoming CERTIFIED and UNCONTESTED] that has no essentially been brushed aside by AG Barr’s actions.

Good on you, Richard Pilger

Yeah, this is just CYA. He doesn't have the berries to do what's right, taps out and leaves it for someone else to clean up. What a pussy.

I'm saying he has laws and policies that protect and guide him as he does his job. Let them fire him if they want him to do shady shit.

He doesn’t berries to do what’s right,”? He may not be sticking around to fight it, but he’s certainly doing right by himself and decency.

Ok so question, if your boss tells you to do something, what are your options? Seems like hes shouting hey this is wrong.

Yeah, this is called having self respect.

Actually, I wish he\d stayed to fight... this new guy might just roll over.

This is definitely something that he probably should have done, but I find his actions entirely admirable anyway; it’s refreshing

He would have gotten fired and trump would have controlled the narrative as to why. This way he gets to leave while drawing attention.
