First side of the garden

@Syko73 I think I showed you this side. I’m not joking when I say this is self care masquerading as mental illness. This is a for family of 3. I give most of my produce away. Btw it’s more of a 1/3 this year. I have that many bags ready to plant in phase 3. The wall repairs got away from us this year, time wise.

1/2 of side two is in. Much more room for tomatoes. Strangely I always plant less on this side in the lower bed, of course I just filled it in this year. It was 18 inches lower for 25 years. I went a little crazy with pearlite but it’s working for all the bags I’m filling. Roto tilled for the first time this year. Worth it.

Sweet peppers and eggplant on side 2. The pots are where pole beans are going. I said I’m not well over this stuff. I pack it in and I let it go wild. I don’t even like pole beans. I just need shade for my peppers. Anyway this sort of poor executive function Not ideal and I’m getting better with plants in general. First year I’m not doing peppers in pots, which was stupid. At least it’s not drugs and porno commanding my serotonin.

Side 2. Some 20+ year old dwarf fruit trees and the bottom bed. I’ll be adding some cherry,Japanese pear, and some guavacado my dad likes. No, I cannot afford this yard on a social worker salary. Moved home to help care for mom.

Can’t go wrong with a PK. I’ll be replacing my Webber in a few years with a pk original. They are so much better for all foods. Aluminum reflects 4x more radiation. Makes a huge diff on the outside.

This is dog. Dog is 14. Dog is in charge of all things. She’s a bitch. She’s also the sweetest beast you’ll ever meet. Neighborhood mascot. I’m just mad she will NEVER cuddle and NEVER let me out of her sight. I love her dearly.

She is a terrorist. I’ve have to fortify every felt bag. She tore through 10 one year and 10 the next. Lizards sun on them and she can smell it, so she rips em up. Zero respect for plants, hence all the cages.
