My mother has run a series of orphan projects in South Africa since I was a kid. Recently, they had so many orphans (and "vulnerable children") that they started running "psychosocial support camps" to help them in bulk. No, I'm not kidding.
They bought a property to house them all, with an attached Bed and Breakfast for people who want to visit and help out. But they over-extended themselves, and the property was going to be foreclosed on.
Suddenly, someone comes out of nowhere and drops a massive donation.
There are 85 orphans staying with her at the moment. They all get to have Christmas!
Seriously, I needed to share with someone. Merry Christmas!
EDIT: Lots of people asking for a place to donate. I genuinely wasn't looking for that, I hate that on Imgur. But I also love my Mom. So...
Orphan project is here: http://www.mamkhulu.org
International Charitable Donations handled by these guys: https://reachout2africa.org
Actual Property (has a B&B you can stay at): http://www.ekukhanyeni.co.za
All legit. Not exactly as easy as donating to "Gofundme", sorry. But all the money goes directly to to an actual charitable organization, which is nice.

Hey, thanks for making the world a slightly better place! We are building a school and an orphanage in Sierra Leone. I know it’s tuff

Is there a link or sumthin where we can donate money? I'm sure she can always use any extra help financially.

There are too many moving parts to reply in a comment, sorry. So instead I edited the above. Thanks for thinking this! Merry Christmas!

Does your facility need medical assistance? I'm a critical care nurse and my nurse friends are looking into organizing a mission trip.

I'll ask! Who knows? They focus on psychosocial needs (rape victims, lost kids, pregnant teens), not "bleeding from the arteries" stuff. :)

@treefrog, do you have a name, business code or charitable organization info? If so it's proves this is legit and I'd donate.

I put it in the edit, thanks for the consideration. :)
