Shit, just when I thought I couln’t have more resoect for the man, he goes and throws around my favourite song. There three songs I love. In order: 1) live will tear us apart 2) mr blue sky 3) blue monday Number two mostly during the months feb-may though. Gets that summervibe going.
I hate this question, cause i have far too many favorite songs and depending on how i feel it could be anywhere from "mr. Bluesky" to "love, me" and a hundred spngs in between
Lol, that's been my fav song for 80% of my life. That basically makes me and Keanu best friends for life. And no, i won't ask him to sign your handmade Johhny Mnemonic T-shirt because it would be an abuse of our new found love but of course he'll do it because he's a hero.
Problem with (most) one songs for the rest of your life choices is the length... You try to drive anywhere listing to music you have to listen to the same track 15 times. I'd go with a 40 minute live cut of Deep Purple's Mandrake Root. Or maybe the 28 minute live version of East-West from Paul Butterfield's Blue Band.
I once spent a 4 hour drive listening only to the opening song from Kingdom Hearts, trying to memorize the sounds of the Japanese words. I fear nothing.
Fuck! One song?! How? How do you choose? Led Zeppelin "Dancing Days", Kinski "Passwords & Alcohol", Nine Inch Nails "Reptile" Neil Young "Cinnamon Girl", TOOL the entire "Lateralus" album. And this barely scratches the surface. Those of you who can answer are amazing, but I can't.
Same boat here. Today might be tool. Tomorrow might be in flames. Friday I might want post malone or emeinem. I jump between so many genres in just one day having just one song forever is impossible.
Who needs to listen to that. It's a powerful enough song that just mentioning its name will get it stuck in your head. Don't need to listen to it them.
I used to love selecting this track at jukeboxes in late nite bars, because for some reason it was usually an option. In places where staff was too busy or unaware to override the jukebox selections people would be treated to a solid 25 minutes of bizarre instrumental while they got plastered on shitty beer
From "Something Borrowed", Ginnifer Goodwin & Kate Hudson (on the 01:20 mark according to a comment from Luus16 on the source https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-ok_cZ9ifM ).
