1978 Japanese science fiction adventure, starting Vic Morrow and Sonny Chiba. Planet facing destruction sends out magic walnuts to find warriors to protect them, assembling a team of young hothead pilots, a retired general, and a samurai. Was criticized for being a copy of Star Wars but I thought it was a lot of fun.
