Its a shame the series didnt evolve beyond the original robot matchmaking formula. I loved this game, but I really feel as though it could have become something more. Instead they are still sticking to the exact same formula to this day.

With Megaman X and Zero, we started to see some lore there, I think they could really build on that. Like, imagine a multi timeline adventure jumping between Megaman, Megaman X, and Zero and all coming together in the end. They could do so much, it seems so obvious to me.

Oh well. I still have awesome memories of using the Flash time stop tool on Quickman, completely mopping the floor with him, and moving on to Metal man for the saw blades.
