The last Holden-branded car made in Australia was a red Holden Commodore VF sedan, which was built on October 20, 2017.
The last overall Holden car was a white Holden Commodore ZB liftback, which was a rebadged Opel/Vauxhall Insignia, which was built on June 2020.

Thought my Lacrosse would be great with the holden chassis but i am no impressed. It is probably the worst car i have ever owned for ride quality. also a lot of road noise>

I always wanted to buy a 2006 Pontiac GTO and rebadge it back to being a Holden Monaro.

Australian. Bought a demonstration model Commodore in 2000, pretty cheap, and it was actually damned good drive. Got us to Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, and a lot of other places without a problem. Had a small V6 gasoline motor, but plenty of power, and the mechanic told me, service it regularly, you won't have a problem. Did so and not a problem.

I'll never forgive them for ruining Saab.
mhonrado073
Well, the Spyker ownership of Saab wasn't much better either.

No more Saturns, no more Pontiacs, Murcurys, or Datsuns... no more cool bright colors, just dull garbage cars from like 5 global brands with designed obsolescence and annoying touch screens. Only the safe, sure thing profits get made anymore. Kind of a shame for car culture people.

Indeed. No desire to buy any of the “new” stuff here.

They're past the crying stage and they've moved on to laughter about it.

It would sell.

Nissan showed off the IDX concept a while back. Similar boxy ‘70s import style. I liked it. They never did anything tho. I think it would have sold better than some other nonsense Nissan rolled out around that time.

Bmw also showed off the csl batmobile concept and never did anything woth it
