I don't think I'd have even had the thought to record my actions. I know I'm old, but do all the youths record everything without hesitation? To see a creature in peril, but first, set phone down to record, then save Bambi

"That's it, I'm calling you Darwin. This is non-negotiable."

Tenderizing dinner

ok... they DO learn. Why no jump? Welll cuz them fences with spikes on the top? Poor deer only has to see ONE of it's buds get impaled on those(AND THEY DO get impaled on those, far more often than they get stuck between the bars, and it is a LONG AND VERY painful death....) so ya, can totally get why they would try to go though the bars, esp cuz while young and small, they fit though fine, but grow so fast, they outgrow the memory of their own size.

You're a wonder Wonder Woman. Still good people in the world. I feel that, "You better not kick me". We've had a "no good dead goes unpunished" moment.

Strong girl, deer rescue?

23 hours ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I swear they do this on purpose

21 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Step-deer, what are you doing?!

20 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Leg muscles. Push with the feet

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I shall help you venisoon, erm very soon.

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you have a car jack handy those work wonders for spreading bars like that.

This anime was peak.
Peak what you ask?

Silly.

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Glad she set up a phone first to record it. Geez

Obligatory 'Help me, step-human, I'm stuck!'

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not once, in all the times I have stopped to help someone or some animal, have I ever felt the need to film it. I feel like a scrooge every time I make a comment like this on a feel good post, but damn has the world gotten to comfortable with filming themselves.

Like...cows. short in the brains dept.

Their defense "strategy" is to bash through gaps in shrubbery too narrow for their predators to follow. Ya. Super helpful when it comes to fences.

First time is free, 2nd time you are own your own.

22 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's almost like this type of barrier is unsafe in doe/deer country and its usage for unmonitored areas ought to be reconsidered.

9 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And also, that s baby was smaller yesterday and probably fit through those fences a month ago or less.

23 hours ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

No it isn't. This fawn is just too small to run and jump....which IS their defense strategy.

23 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks kinda small too, maybe not fully grown?

1 day ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

It might think it is still able to fit through the fence it walked through as a baby. I dont think deer are self aware and know about body size changes so the environment just has to teach them they're big now through experience

10 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah definitely not full grown.

1 day ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Depending on exact animal, momma was probably larger around by at least two times than the (admittedly quite fit-looking and undeniably strong) human in the video

23 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

brb gonna go get stuck in a fence to see if I can summon a fit girl to hold me, too

Reminds me of this sheep:

Thank you, kind human

1 day ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Strong. Farm girl.

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I wouldn't be able to leave it stuck, but I wonder if helping it is going to hurt the genes of the herd.

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Don't worry, all deer are f***ing morons.

Stone Mountain, Georgia, pretty sure

explains the camera angle. Don't wanna rotate to the right there.

1 day ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Definitely a stone mountain somewhere, anyway.

1 day ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

it's a stone mountain, ga!

Try the carp po boy with extra chuckle.

1 day ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

you’re only supposed to order that while the chuckle hut is open though. Once they close for the comedy show chuckles no good.

I thought you said rack at first and could pinpoint locations just from boobdar

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

… Now THAT would be an odd super power.

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Deer are dumb as dogshit. Just big stupid rabbits.

1 day ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 4

Brain is small. Very silly creatures.

Username checks out

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Meh. Just instinct. Not dumb. Human made structures are unnatural and confuses them.

1 day ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 5

Given that human made structures have been around for many generations of deer, I think it's pretty safe to say they are dumb.

21 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Animals just be like that sometimes. Squirrels seem to have a handle on everything except for roads.

And getting their testicles stuck in things, according to an image I've seen

If you bend both poles you get more distance...

1 day ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 7

I thinknitnwould have been effective to cut the deer in half

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I think she should have pushed her back through the second set

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

You're right, but it looks like she's given it all she's got for the one. Maybe if she had her hands on one and put a foot on the other, the old push-pull? Easy to "arm chair quarterback" sitting here at my desk.

1 day ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 2

I thought that then started wondering why she's wearing sandals.. looks like she was out for a run and those are not good for that.

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Could be walking home from Yoga class or something like that. Maybe just out for a walk. Some folks seem to recognize the park as being in Georgia, and it's hot and humid there.

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I dont understand being condescending to someone doing their best doing a good thing. Its just mean. Under your breathe like "maybe do it a smart way next time..."

1 day ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

Its not condescending to point something out.

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

When you add the ... ellipses it definitely conveys that tone. It makes your sentence snide. Passive aggressive.

1 day ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

I didn’t read it like that in my head, fwiw

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You should have, though. Ellipses give tone same as ! And ?'s. "Maybe you can bend both bars..." is completely different from "Maybe you can bend both bars." Regular period is a neutral statement. Ending with the Ellipses 3 periods is generally negative. Its like they're saying the comment under their breath and being snarky. It sounds rude.

I say this to be informative to people who use ... to end sentences or in place of commas.
