I'm a bartender and that shit doesn't fly in our restaurant. Until we reach herd immunity everybody still wears masks.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

All I got was a stupid sticker :(

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Getting mine Monday, can’t wait to be mostly immune to a disease Trumpers think is fake lol

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I am upvoting you for the phrase “mostly immune”. Thank you! Too many people I talk to think it means they can’t catch/pass it period.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It is 89% after you get the second dose but that is still a 11% chance to make someone else sick, unless you get 100% there is still a risk.

You still have to wear your mask even after you're vaccinated. People know this, right?

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

Trumptards don't understand asymptomatic transmission. They don't believe Typhoid Mary was real. They don't believe in proof.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

I think there will be a resurgence because of a highly contagious variant and people thinking they don’t need to mask anymore.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

The Israel study seems to show that there is a 90% reduction of people passing Covid after being vaccinated. Hopefully this keeps true.

The wait for vaccination hurts so much more since my mom died of it. Even though husband & I essential, we're almost bottom of the list.

Gimme that fuckin' vaccination already. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. Been covering the cost for a year on my own to avoid COVID.

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 3

Trying to get a housemate who you can trust not to bring the plague home is tough. So I just, gave up. And lived alone. So expensive.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

So did I, I made exactly the same choice, I feel your pain and symptahise with it.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's been nearly a year, and I've not been able to afford anything but basic survival. The vaccine will mean I can get a housemate, & live!

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I am sorry, dear, it must have been difficult. Better this than a flatmate who didn’t wash her hands like my ex-flatmate

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My roommate and I both got covid. His physical therapist was vaccinated and health dept. still forced her to quarantine

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A week after they changed it so you don’t have to if you’re exposed and vaccinated. poor lady

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got vaccinated as soon as I could. No side effects. My GF period was 3 days late, for the first time ever. Apparently it happens a lot.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Having girlfriends you mean? Idontthinkso...

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We would have gotten vaccines even if we knew of this, probably. But no one told us. And that's weird.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

We were told that there's research about it, but no one knows if or what the connection is.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

As someone who is irregular, my periods are delayed whenever I catch a cold, or my allergies get bad, or I am stressed at work, etc.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I see it as my body having another priority at the moment. Maybe the vaccine also "stresses" the body which messes hormone balance.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

the atomic clock uses my GFs period when it wants to make sure it is accurate.

...you guys are getting vaccines?

5 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

I got my first about a week ago. Dose two in two weeks. I'm in remission from lymphoma.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Had my first on Thursday, don't as yet know when I get the second (I'm in the UK)

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In Wisconsin us regular people won’t be getting one any time soon

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Germany here. Fuck no. As a normal dude, I'll have to wait another 6-8 months probably. If even. 3rd wave also incoming. Things are great.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Just got my second one an hour ago

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not for at least another month :-/

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Getting mine Tuesday. Got bumped up because I do chaplain work at a hospital.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Congrats!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We won't be getting ours for another 6 months likely here in Canada.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow!! And not a good wow!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

First dose in the next 30 to 60 days. Second dose 90 to 120 days. Hopefully.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know, right? Me neither.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I got one by accident last Friday. Someone cancelled their appointment so I was offered their vaccine. I get my second shot in 4 weeks.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I got my second shot just over a week ago, and yes I have a vaccine card now so I can travel to Canada again, so kinda a multi-pass.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Once the dose is out of the freezer they can't put it back. It's either give it to someone or throw it out. Right place, right time.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Right here, right now.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Got my 2nd shot over 2 weeks ago. So yeah... Where's my Multipass, damnit!?

Screw you

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You shut your dirty mouth! Wtf when did I get old?!

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

but it wont protect others, only the poked person. wear a mask.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Maybe. Maybe not. Israel data seems it will reduce transmission rates considerably.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Interesting. I think I'll still keep away from people until they are also vaccinated. I'd hate to give it to someone.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good decision. Taking no chances is probably the only way we are ever getting out of this mess

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

technically, you can still get it and carry it. chances of death and bad symptoms from virus just drops to about 0. still wear masks!

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

1/sorry, was going off of just general knowledge from immunology and medical background. vaccines don’t put up a literal internal barrier.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2/if you are exposed and inhale the virus it will treat you the same with or without vaccine. the difference is without the vaccine

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

3/the virus runs wild and multiply for days while your body tries to identify and figure out how to respond, vs having a defense set up day1

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought it could be on your hands/clothing etc and still spread THAT way but that you couldn’t get it anymore. do you have a source?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Seems you can get it, but spreading it is at least 89% less likely. Source:

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well I look forward to some peer review on this.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just to be clear. Even vaccinated people can spread covid. We still have to social distance until everyone is vaccinated.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

And variants are out there.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pfizer vaccine seem to protect against all variants so far... www.cnn.com/2021/02/17/health/pfizer-vaccine-south-africa-variant/index.html

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's surprisingly hopeful.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Data please

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The data from Israel seems to suggest otherwise. https://www.reuters.com/article/health-coronavirus-israel-vaccine-int-idUSKBN2AJ08J

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is great! Hope they make more studies and they get peer reviewed. As for now, why not take the same caution we have done for a year?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This isn't data

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is true. I have read it, looking for it. Do you have data to prove otherwise while i search to find it? Because then I am happy to read

Why?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What if I told you that the director of this movie, Luc Besson, got a girl (he met when she was 12) pregnant and then left her for Milla?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

“They were married in late 1992 when Le Besco, 16, was pregnant with their daughter Shanna””He married the 21-year-old on 14 December 1997,

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

at the age of 38, but they divorced in 1999”

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I didn't know this, wild. Great movie even so

Hate the artist, not the art.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’m so old that I saw this in the Theater. As an adult.

5 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

I had a chance to see it in the theater, but instead went for Batman and Robin. It was probably the worst decision made by anyone, ever.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And I will regret it till the end of my days.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0
