I've always been an advocate of showing the full gruesomeness of mass shootings and war and whatnot. Maybe you feel you dont need to see it, but failure to confront the shocking brutality of violence allows far too many people to keep their head in the sand on the seriousness and inhumanity of it.

Out of the 100s (1000s?) of kids that have been shot, I'm sure some of them took a while to die, suffering while waiting for death.
