doge

Former? What do you mean former? The frickin group only existed for 5 months so far. If this pathetic worm was in DOGE, he knew what it was and what he was getting into. He deserves to rot in prison like the rest of those criminals.

Almost like they removed people that could adversely affect Elon's businesses if they continued what they were doing and nothing else.

nah homie, federal fraud and waste is at an all time high, it was just above your paygrade and you didnt see it. its not low level workers wasting money not working, the fraud comes from overly expensive defense contracts that feeds money into private contractors that in turn put that money in the senators re election funds to make sure they get the next contract. if you think fed waste and fraud isnt happening ur either too low on the totem pole to see it or blind.

If fraud was occurring we’d see legal charges being filed.

10 months ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

It's almost like where you will find the most fraud is in taxes, yet they cut IRS funding for "some" reason.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wait until someone leaks that all the fentanyl doesn’t really come from Canada.

10 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Uhhhh, we already knew that... Only waste and fraud is the hot air Republicans regularly spew.

10 months ago | Likes 74 Dislikes 1

And the DOD.

10 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"engineer"

10 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

No......really? Who would have guessed.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well bro, you are still a traitor and deserve prison.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Little shit head

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Almost like the agencies that barely got any funding to what they actually needed. Made sure to use the funding they did get as efficiently as possible.
If you want to find waste, look at the military.
They are the ones who get more money than they need.
So if there's waste to find, it's there.
Especially with all the contractors they pay to do work, the military could be doing itself for cheaper.

If Trump and Musk were serious about fraud, waste, and abuse Trump wouldn't have fired the inspectors general.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Define waste?

It's when dollars are paid but services don't reach the people.

Because government contractors take them.

10 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

or money spent on doing things by paper and mail that don't have an accountability reason to not be digital, etc.

10 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because they didn't fucking look into the one place that really needed it, the DOD.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As I have said before, we have a DOGE. It's called the GAO. The fact DOGE ever became a thing has more to do with grandstanding than rooting out waste.

10 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The fraud to come will be staggering, nearly the stagger of our nation by that point…teetering I’m thinking.

10 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So DOGE eventually discovered that the fraud and waste were inside it all along?

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's almost like we built a massive system and improved it over 250 years to prevent waste fraud and abuse and it actually works except when Republicans do it and cover it up or pardon people who commit it

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Suggested title: DOGE realizes IT is The Source of the Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep. That seems pretty good

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

DOGE was a whole organization of fraud and waste and this poor schmuck didn't even see it!

10 months ago | Likes 117 Dislikes 0

it wasn't. It was absurdly effective. The "waste and fraud" tagline was, obviously, absurd ministry of truth level doublespeak that deserved only the polite laughter warranted by making a bad joke of a horrific, murderous enterprise. DOGE did destroy every agency that was investigating Musk's corporate crimes, true, but it also destroyed a major pillar of the US defense of Ukraine and will murder 25m mostly brown people: even Hitler didn't come close.

10 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Or did he? It does say "former" and it hasn't exactly been around long.

10 months ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

10 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not saying there is waste and fraud, but how in the everloving fuck does someone without experience in forensic accounting even determine that?

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No shit

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And not because they aren't corrupt, they've just been doing it so long that it's all legal.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Don't give them a platform. It doesn't matter what they "thought" or "realized". They're just trying to cover their asses. They set out to destabilize the US and they succeeded. And now they all need to go to prison

10 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Destabilised the US, and are already responsible for a huge number of deaths across the world from abruptly ending so many aid programs, leaving vast amounts of food to rot in warehouses while children starved.
Prison? These shits should be up against a fucking wall.

10 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or maybe inside a wall.

10 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"ask for forgiveness, not permission."
...that is such a bad mentality for a Gov related job :|

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They obviously didn't look at military spending and contracting then. Everyone complains about spending and cutting but NO ONE mentions the TRILLION DOLLAR military budget. Why? Because everyone that's crooked or corrupt is making money off it. Bloated costs, overshot deadlines, payoffs, mates looking after mates, that's where the biggest single waste of taxppayer money and fraud is. In the military budget. Then everyone cries cause NASA contract out to stretch it's pissing 20bn as far as it can

The article says he was specifically working in veteran's affairs.

10 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Another area grossly underfunded where they have to watch every penny. So of course they wouldn't find it there either.

10 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's almost like the government cared enough to already have a dept that did that

10 months ago | Likes 253 Dislikes 0

Yep, annual independent financial audits for each agency, Inspector General Offices before Trump fired them, Internal auditors, and of course The General Accountability Office .

10 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Everyone who has done work in the Executive branch knows what GAO is. Congress and the general public seem to have no idea that GAO exists which means they definitely haven't read any of their reports.

10 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Meaning, if we ever manage to get Democrats back into office, someone needs to browbeat them into putting the GAO up front and center in every press briefing

10 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

For an organization its size, the federal government is actually super efficient.

10 months ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

And that's what you get by having a large government. You get more people tracking things to make sure it's all working correctly.
Small Government leaves the trust in only a few people to ensure it is all working.
It's why Conservatives like the idea of small government more, because it would let them be more corrupt and not get caught.

10 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Holy shit that makes a lot of sense really. I guess I hadn't thought about the why of it

10 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just look at what they are talking about when they talk about small government. It's getting rid of regulations and agencies to monitor and enforce them.
The only reason why you would want to do that, is if you want to do things that they would stop you from doing.
