#5 Don't remember where I saw it, but "No Kings! Yass, Queen!"

I am going to say this on every ”no kings day post” as it needs to be said:

Don’t celebrate a thing with 0 value and effect that happened on a Saturday. You have to concentrate your efforts on a weekday and the capital.

(And yes, protesting for REAL change is not easy)

The California rallies doubled as get-out-the-vote events for Prop 50, which if passed give us a chance to counterbalance the Texas gerrymander. Winning the House in 26 would change a lot. Plus, sheer numbers nationwide—remember BLM?—make the news, taking the message to more people. Especially if what they see is caring, joy, solidarity, and lots of American flags. It casts doubt on the fascist propaganda.

That is a good thing. Hopefully that is enough. I guess it wasn’t 0 in each place. I was wrong about that.

Thanks for informing me :)

If nothing happens at your rally it's because the people around you don't know what to do

You do actually have to learn things about how to do this effectively, like the difference between a rally a strike a demonstration a march and an action

Everyone thinks they're the same things and it's all different things sometimes happening on the same days or about the same issues
