Yet again folks we see a popular opinion from an @OP who doesn't know how to meme. God fucking dammit.

The sidewalks in my town are like an obstacle course. All pushed up and cracked by the beautiful oak trees.

In our defense, it's a Sidewalk, not a Siderun. As long as they're facing traffic, it's typically legal.

Sidewalks are uneven

Seriously just go run on a damn track

This is one of my biggest pet peeves especially when get pissed when you almost hit them.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Idfk why people do that. Sidewalk = less chance of getting it.

You mean speed bumps?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Depends on how fucked up the sidewalks are. Around here there are some that are so fucked up you would break your ankles trying it.

And that is if they exist at all, fucking suburbs.

People who run on major streets rather than quiet side streets... those, dear meme'r, are the pretentious doucher's

It's a sidewalk, not a siderun.

I don't think it's true. Don't do it myself, but I applaud anyone trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle

Just cause you don't see it...I see it all the time, and we have BEAUTIFUL sidewalks and parks

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I don't think it's true that they 'are douche bags'

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do people actually do this?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes.Understandable w/bad sidewalks, but dumbasses also run on busy streets. Why would you want to do that?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes. In neighborhoods with more car traffic than foot traffic and beautifully maintained sidewalks no less. I fucking hate that shit.

Meh, I don't see it. Runners are way less sketch to pass on the road than say cyclists, who are neither pedestrian nor vehicle, but both

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They're Pedestercles. Science went too far.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The concrete sidewalk vs the asphalt road.... there's a huge difference for a runner. The asphalt is easier on your feet and legs (1/2)

I promise you, it's not to annoy you. Also kids and dog-walkers use the sidewalk and take up a lot of room :)

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 6

And then there is also the unevenness of the sidewalk. Running 5 miles on it can easily fuck up your knees.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

or make you fall flat on your face (I've done it, it was very embarrassing)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Lol yeah, I been there too.
