Does anyone have this as a clip of the actual thing without the video of a tv and laughing?.

I really, really want to be excited about Artemis, but in the back of my mind there's a little voice that reminds me about "The Man Who Sold the Moon"

Same. I was very excited during launch, but it is an economic/prestige mission, pushed ahead despite problems, by a shitty administration which pays a shitty company to launch a shitty ship. I just hope they make it back safely.

Space is cool and all but can we feed hungry school kids first?

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 10

yes. screw the moon and screw mars. take care of business at home. use the money on jobs and technology that feed the hungry kids directly without wasting any of it on rocket fuel.

that money doesn't all just leave the planet and disappear. it's jobs creation, it's new technology, it's important. we can feed kids and go to space too, if we just stop bombing children in other countries first

Is taking a lap around something "going" to it? Cheap night eating out, I guess, quick drive around the resturant.

Going around it helps us to not kill astronauts on the real mission.

Baby steps. Remember, the ultimate goal is getting Matt Damon on Mars and if Jimmy Kimmel is right, leaving him there for all eternity.

The Apollo missions didn't start with 11.

Thankfully this time around we avoided a dead crew on the launchpad for the first mission (during training) like Apollo
