In a recent issue, Batman reveals a secret trick he has for dealing with anxiety.
When going to a new world that makes the Justice League's powers go haywire, Naomi McDuffie gets very upset when her hands briefly turn transparent. Batman goes to check her out and when she starts growing increasingly anxious, he cuts her off with one word designed to distract her and calm her down--Ducktales.
Weird thing is, it works. Batman implies this isn't the first time he's used this technique, either.
I like thinking of the Dark Knight, sitting high above the city, stressing about an upcoming conflict with the Joker, wondering how deep his money vault would be if he converted his fortune to gold coins and spent the day swimming around in there instead...

The actual explanation for why that might work is because it's confusing and unexpected so it distracts the brain. Similar to putting 1/

On the other hand, 'Darkwing Duck' makes him anxious, cause he just can't live up to his childhood hero.

Unless you're a criminal, i feel like Batman showing up would relieve anxiety. "I'm gonna die. Oh Batman is here now. They're gonna die"

Not that he kills but i imagine a beating severe enough that bystanders think they're dead.
