#2 I try to be on time simply because I'd like other people to have that courtesy with regards to *my* time. We only have so much of it.
But if someone gave me attitude like this over being late, man. Find literally anything else to be upset about. There are so many more important things, we're really spoiled for choice.

#2 joke aside, I can tell you that it is NOT easy to be on time for all of us. I’ve struggled with this my whole life, and I get anxious and stressed when I’m late and I feel terrible for it, but it turns out I have ADHD and with that comes time blindness as well as constant side quests and shit so no matter how much I try, I will be late. Not always ofc, but often. We don’t like it either, but please don’t think we do it bc we don’t care or don’t respect your time.

They don't think they are being obvious about it, but I can pick up on subtle cues like, "I hate you!" and "You aren't late because your dog died, you're late as a way to show disrespect to me!"

As mentioned, that sky view "from mars" is actually from earth. A telescope on mars would still have to deal with atmospheric troubles like earth based telescopes. There has been talk about a telescope on the far side of the moon. But even beside that, we sent up the Hubble telescope and James Webb, both outside the atmosphere, and the James Webb telescope is a million miles away at L2. There is no need for a telescope on mars.

Only if you're in 4/4 timing. It's been a while, but if I would guess he might be closer to 3/8 timing here, 8 being the number of measures in a bar, and therefore what he was counting to.

First number is notes per measure, second is which note the signature is counting (quarter note in 4/4, eighth note in 3/8). Also "measure" and "bar" are the same thing. He's counting to 8 but the difference between that and counting to 4 twice would be mostly one of notation

Huh, I'll add that to the post - I mean it's actually even cooler that the nightsky pic was taken on earth!

To add: the night sky would look about exactly the same on Mars, too. The human eye wouldn't see this way - it's not sensitive enough - but a good camera would take such a shot. There would be some extremely minor differences in some stars' relative position, but Mars is very close to us to create any difference a human would spot.
