I... HATE... having to be as political as I am... But my mere right to EXIST ON THE PLANET EARTH... has been politicized, and I don't see any way off the planet, not permanently, and even temporary leaving of Earth is prohibitively expensive.
Really need to get people like she's describing more aware of what's being done to them if we're to survive. The challenging part is doing it in such a way that they don't bury their heads deeper into the sand to avoid the discomfort.
"I don't like politics" is the first to cry and complain when politics affects their life directly and the last to understand what transpired to eventually cause their predicament.
