Or, maybe, just use the thing specifically designed for this task, a rose.

My spoon, ISN'T too big?

That hackreacts guy would probably not approve.

They make sprayers with different settings you can buy for five bucks that do this exact thing!

Now this is a helpful "hack" and effortless and so many common household items you can use even if you don't have zip ties.

Why wouldn't you just put your thumb over the end to make it spray? Why waste anything extra when any thumb or finger will do the exact same thing?

That would be annoying to do with a typical watering can though but yeah it would accomplish the same thing with more effort

Has nobody ever just put their thumb in front of the water? It does basically the same exact thing and doesn't require you to ziptie anything to your water spout.

That was my thought. Who needs to waste ties & a spoon? This is one of those internet "life hacks" that no one with a brain ever needed.

Different spoons make Different spreads.

You could also cut notches in the spoon to create various patterns in the watering, if that is something you find helpful. Like a sprinkler for fires

small individual sprays from a standard watering can spout does a better job.

Not enough hot glue and useless ideas for that.

Harnessing the power of the spoon backlash for good.

It still sprays you in the crotch at the same time somehow.

I was hoping someone would say it!

Still knocked over one of the seedlings tho :-/. DRAMM redhead, accept no substitutes. https://growerssolution.com/products/waterbreaker

It's not backlash. The poor spoon only knows to deliver liquid so when it's presented with more than it knows what to do with, it freaks out just like anyone would.

Not at all even though. The sides are getting way more water than the front and back.

In most containers, it is hardest to ensure that the edges get as wet as the middle. As long as you water enough in total, and you hit the top of the middle, it'll all get wet.
