slight misinformation: Water is not wet. Water makes stuff wet but is itself not wet.

"Give me your country or I'll further tax my own citizens!"

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But, it will distract people from Epstein Files

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice lecture on politics, Mr. "We won't be endorsing Harris" newspaper!

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is nice and all, but you assume that Trump decisions have to make sense. They don't.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they do, the yjust don't make sense for the average socio economical person nor the poor. they sololy make sense for the few rich people on this planet.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it'd be really funny if europe decided instead of retaliatory tariffs, they'd simply raise their prices for us customers

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Trump would be upset if he could read this.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just another tax on us, the American people, for McFuckFace the Clown’s ego.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Invade Greenland! They can't stop us... Mr President! Mr President! Europe and China are dumping all their US treasury bonds!

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think I'm going to start pissing off my MAGA coworkers by unilaterally declaring tariffs on them when they ask me for shit.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

time for the eu to get some new trading partners. you could try canada.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

they already do that, but funnily they started to focus more in the south americans as trade partners which makes the crybaby even more angry.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But water isn't wet. It makes things wet.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a Dane: JESUS FUCK, IT'S NOT EVEN OURS TO SELL IN THE FIRST PLACE, YOU ORANGE SHITSTAIN

2 months ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Orangeface the Clown suggested the solution to the Palestine war was for Israel to give Palestine to the US... He is completely demented and shouldn't be left in charge of a lawn mower, let alone a whole country.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

This orange tantrum drags us down. We need to stop him and his enablers.

Epstein. Epstein. Epstein.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Greenland needs to temporarily change its name to "Epstein files island"

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Green land is not for saleasshole!

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only US taxpayers suffer from the tarrifs anyway. Go ahead Europe. Have the war and laugh at us, because his base is too dumb to understand.

2 months ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 1

I mean not really. For a small country like Sweden with relatively small companies having your third biggest importer stop importing as much will hurt. But it’ll hurt unevenly across the country and sectors, as we have a few larger exporters like Volvo that contribute a lot to the total export.

It’s not that we’re paying the tariffs, it’s that Americans don’t buy our stuff and have reduced choices

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Well kinda both, some will pay more for your products. And others will stop buying it due to higher prices. In the end it will damage the wealth and economies on both sides.

2 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yep, this is the reality. It hurts everyone, which is why tariffs are such a stupid tool outside of very narrow circumstances (which these do not fall under)

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'M GONNA TARIFF YOU https://media3.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTc5MGI3NjExYWswYm1sbWp1eXMwbzlrZHk3MnNxcGF4eXk0ZDdxcXBiejJweGpkNCZlcD12MV9pbnRlcm5hbF9naWZfYnlfaWQmY3Q9Zw/MCunrzmIuG2FWZOjsj/giphy.gif

My lip reading skills aren't quite good. Is he saying "You're a motherfucker, you're a fucking son of a bitch!"?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, the eu was very patient with him. Military, we're not the strongest, but financially and economically we could fuck shit up
Trump is(deliberately) isolating the US from every allie and or neighbor

2 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Then should the EU desire they could fire their BAZOOKA back known as the “Anti-Coercion Instrument” (ACI).

Billions would be wiped off the US economy as trade gets shut down with copyright and parents sharing banned. Imagine not being able to sell to your richest best customers.

So Trump had better stop threatening counties over Greenland or that bazooka gets fired.

To be honest, the Hunting Rifles would be the biggest danger. If the Polls are correct 91% of the population of Greenland oppose an US occupation. That transfers to around 20.000 which are willing to go hunting when the US arrives. The US will win the Invasion and then lose the war. The US can't sustain a large occupation force, so around 10.000 soldiers at max. What happens when they got constantly sniped when they are leaving their bases? They become prisoners not occupiers.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The Trump admin wants the soil not the people. If an invasion does take place we would see concentration camps established to stop the insurgency.

When was that one from, I don't remember it at all

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The American people can stop this insanity anytime but they don't want to.

2 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

They still think having 2 jobs, working 60+ hours a week while having 0 savings and having to klarna a Burrito is still a-okay. But I am the Europoor with all my paid leave and a good work-life balance and 0 consumer debt so what do I know.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Just to be clear, we DON'T think it's OK, we've just been slowly taken advantage of until we found ourselves having to do the "2 jobs" thing just to keep our heads above water. Plus we're pretty out-gunned by the fascists.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

give it up donald, you're gonna lose big time on this. destabilising the world isn't worth it

2 months ago | Likes 97 Dislikes 0

When do the Americans grow their spines and oust their Nazi leaders? Before or after they start a world war? Before or after their children grow up in a fascist dictatorship?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

Isn't worth protecting himself and his pedophile buddies? Oh it's worth all the wealth in the world according to them.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It all makes sense when you realize that after Trump destabilizes both the USA and Europe, Russia is the big winner. Trump is playing Putin's game, has been for years

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Perhaps he'll get the trains to run on time... oh...

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He won't lose, he's betting his money on it. He'll profit regardless. It's *us* who's gonna lose big time.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He genuinely does not care. He's an empty husk of a person possessing no actual convictions about anything. His understanding of the world is that of a small child; living perpetually sometime in the 80s.

The only thing he cares about is his profoundly restricted little fantasy world where he's like a child playing dress-up in daddy's suit, pretending to be some 'business man' while being entirely beholden to the needs of his ego without restraint.

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

To him, it possibly is. He's like a child who whines when he doesn't get his way, threatening to ruin everyone else's fun if he can't get to play the game the way he wants (so he wins).

2 months ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 0

Never forget the angle of personal enrichment!

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yeah, much like a child. I hear he shits his pants too.

2 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

He doesnt care, he is doing it for his master in Russia and his own family's gain. He doesnt give a shit.

2 months ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

If he dies before he’s held accountable, his entire family should be put in prison and stripped of all of their assets to pay for his treason.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His own personal gain. His own family are tools to him.

2 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately, since his first term's grift, he has actually become a real billionaire. The 3,000 billionaires don't care about the other 7 billion of us.

A collapsed world economy won't mean a lot to him

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The rest of the world is signing new trade agreements to replace the US markets. The US is angling to become the next North Korea. Completely isolated from the world and a deranged cult of personality. Even when Trump kicks it and even if we take back leadership, even if we have extensive trials to correct the lawlessness and do our best to restore diplomatic relationships, those supply chain relationships don't go back to how they were. They've been replaced.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like North Korea politically, absolutely.

Economically? Fuck no. By land area, 30 US states are bigger than NK. The continuous US has 60,000+ miles of coastline, NK has 1,500.

The US does lack on some specialized natural resources, but some of them, like Lithium, aren't needed with an economic shift away from EVs.

The US absolutely could survive as a closed, isolationist shithole. The next 10yrs would be bad as the economy retooled for manufacturing, but it could be done.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's the US's problem, not Trump's problem. And Trump doesn't give a single fuck about anything that isn't Trump. And the people steering Trump want to burn down the world so they can be a new nobility in the renewed feudal ages, so they don't care, either.

I wish to say to those ~100 million US citizens who either voted for this or ignored what is coming: THANKS, GUYS. THANKS A LOT.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That’s literally the Network State plan the VCs are looking for. Another billion doesn’t mean anything to them, but to rule a fiefdom where they’re entitled to do whatever they feel like to their subjects.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel like we're all agreeing but you're trying to make it sound like we're not.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No amount of trade deal would make that economically viable for Denmark.
The economic waters exclusion zone along is more valuable than any amount of trade the US could offer.
There's no way it could be done.
No one wants it in Denmark or Greenland, and there's no economic motives either.

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

But Europe folds to the US at every opportunity. Must have been like that with the Ottoman Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Competitors gnawing the best or easiest pieces off.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Denmark won't sell its citizens. This is not the 15th century when kings sold their citizens to others as slaves.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I dont believe the danes hold onto it just because its potentially profitable, I think they know that at some point it's very likely they'll have to grant Greenland independence, i think its simply a matter of principle.

Theres all manner of other little odds and ends around the world that Trump might demand if we let him get away with Greenland so best to stop him here.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

granting greenland independence is now impossible. As soon as that would happen you can bet someone claims it by force. Don't forget greenland doesn't even have 57k citizens. Its a huge Area but mostly uninhabitated until global warming makes it a nice fertile place.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It's never going to be a fertile place.
Even if all the ice melts, it has basically no soil.
It's all volcanic rock under the ice.
The whole island has extremely minimal topsoil.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No that doesnt make it impossible not if the people want it. It just means they'd have to be included in a defence pact. My country; Britain and my birth country, France, we both own some utterly ludicrous little dots around the world but we're still pledged to defend them and by extension NATO is too.

I think the smallest would be Pitcairn, barely 100 inhabitants, sits about 800 nautical miles west of Chile. So much further away than Greenland.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

1st pitcairn is still a british sort of colony, second pitcairn is not having ay aluabel ressoucres the big hungry nations want. Putin has killed more and trump deported more people than Greenland even has population. they wouldn't care getting them all off for what greenland offers.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thats not the point though is it, its still a british territory and if theoretically someone wanted a random ass rock formation in the south Pacific, we'd still have to defend it.

Just like we did South Georgia and the Falklands, and honestly as someone whos been deployed briefly to South Georgia, I can honestly say there is not a more dismal glacial pile of rubble on the face of this earth that I could be called upon to die for.
