I feel like that when I watch someone repost something that initially got maybe...a hundred or less upvotes, and then this other person posts it, and it's Front page THOUSANDS of upvotes. Even gets 'post of the day' award.
Yep, curator/aggregator. They are doing the work of going through the trash on the internet to highlight the... well, "good bits" may be strong, but still.
that's why it's called "nontent", and I am happy to have just discovered, via a quick Google search, that the term has already been in use by other people, and not just myself
I don't think I can really poke fun considering one of my favorite youtube channels is a guy that just narrates and comments on interesting Reddit stories he finds.
There are plenty who posts screenshots of other people's tweets, but I don't think they call themselves content creators. Just like people who repost memes found elsewhere don't call themselves content creators.
I don't get what's to hate about it. 98 percent of what we see here on Imgur is taken from elsewhere anyway; what's wrong with seeing something from one particular website?
Let's play some pretend. Is react content any different from MST3K if they didn't have skits for the commercial breaks? And I mean from a thought experiment view. If all reactors had the same skill, it's the same thing, I would say.
I think you forgot to make sure it shows up in a black frame making it obvious you screen captured it. Maybe bonus points for jacking up the resolution too.

This just gave me horrible visions of "reaction" videos on YouTube. You created nothing!!!

I dunno, I like some reaction videos. Like, look at the pure joy in the room at these peoples' reaction to Sans being in Smash. https://youtu.be/gmau-gRMr_U?si=ES9PhlW59FjY9bHe&t=63
Xenarion
At least some do give reactions or commentary, or voice over which I appreciate, but a lot just... watch.

You need some laughing emojis and maybe a red arrow or red circle or two and text that says something like "WHAT?! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT LOL!"
