If I had to choose today between him or P.P, I would still, begrudgingly, vote for Trudeau. Unfortunately, politics functions on optics, and in the past few years have been messy with mishaps and misteps.

No. He's resigning due to his unpopularity around the country and within his own party. Donald is just a stupid and unfortunately damaging sideshow playing next door.
