I feel like they would not only need custom-fit jackets, but they would need to be made of some Reed Richards super material just so they'd last longer than 5 minutes
Nah, its not the material. Their uniforms naturally regenerate like Kenshiros shirt and jacket from Fist of the North Star. He must've exploded at least a couple hundred thousand outfits. Always came back.
Not ALL, but Reed did basically invent / discover "unstable molecules" (it was stated differently a few times, I think it was based off what happened to their suits in the initial space flight) that folks with notoriously difficult-to-work-with physiques get.
Which ironically forced the comics to change to a brand new character to replace Danny in the comics. Just to wash the stink off Iron Fist. New guy wound up in MARVEL RIVALS.
Eh... MCU Tony Stark felt enough like some comic incarnations to be a plausible reboot/new take with most of the core traits intact, Iron Fist was a completely different character.
Although, at least Tony Stark of the MCU was closer to the comic version; an arrogant drunk and womanizer who has his life changed due to war and the weapons he sells to then develop a suit and become a hero
The comic version of most of the characters tend to be better than the show, at least in my opinion. Netflix handled Daredevil well, but really fumbled when it came to the rest of the Defenders. Luke Cage season 1 wasn't bad, same for Jessica Jones, but everything else felt bland.
I remember a thing where they were working out the choreography minutes before they filmed a scene. Might have been the producers scheduling things badly, or Netflix not giving them time to design & rehearse.

I don't see how long they'd last is relevant. ... oh you're talking about how long their *outfits* would last.

Well at least it isn't Plastic-Man this time.

All super Heroes gain access to exotic meta-materials (that would do more good for the world than any amount of villain-punching).

Is that version of Danny Rand tolerable? You know, not like the Netflix show?
RussellJackman
He absolutely is more tolerable. The Netflix show was basically a brand-new character they were calling Iron Fist.

You mean The Immortal Iron Fist™, Protector of Kun Lun, Sworn Enemy of the Hand?

Much like the MCU Tony Stark was a completely new character they were calling Tony Stark.

I really liked everything about ironfist except ironfist himself
Freak0zoid
It also suffered because the actor was somewhat insufferable and refused to learn the fight choreography.

The new Daredevil series is incredibly subtle in its messaging
LincLoud
It also has great action and isn't afraid to put its characters in actual costumes/super suits.
wadatahmydamie
Yeah, I like it quite a bit
