Hamster Help!!!
I have a male Chinese Dwarf named Joey! He seems fine and happy though I noticed today that he was doing this weird motion, like flexing his torso muscles or kind of shrugging. Some of the “shrugs” look kind of like a hiccup without the sound. This motion is happening when he is sleeping. He doesn’t seem distressed and since I’ve owned him, he never squeaks or chitters his teeth when I am holding him but he does it sometimes in his cage when he is alone. The only reason I am posting is that I’ve been searching online what it could mean. If anybody could help me I could send them a video of the motions he is doing, though in the video he isn’t making the squeaking sounds. He is still cleaning himself.
I really do love my hamster and I don’t want him to die. I have no idea if this is normal, and any advice (hopefully there is an imgurian vet out there) would be greatly appreciated.
**I forgot to mention, he has also been squeezing his eyes shut when it happens

From your tone, I feel that this will not end well :(

What I wanted to tell him was more than what the threads could handle. Not bad news, just lots of advise. I'm hoping all ends well.
