humbly: 3 parts cornmeal, 2 parts flour, 1 part buttermilk (-ish, "just enough so it pours"). pre-heat your (beef or pork fat) greased cast-iron pan a bit, it should sizzle ever so slightly when first poured. this stuff goes *great* in soup beans or with butter and honey.

I found mine at Chapters bookstore over a decade ago but it's nice. Haven't filled it yet. I should go in more recipes I've built up with the smoker the wife got me a few years ago but I mostly wing those. Need to get the eggnog cookie recipe off my eldest daughter.
