Nothing threatening here i'm just a flamingo
I'm a flamingo and i'm coming up to you
Oh is that your child? I'ma ripout his motherfucking eyeball

Why do flamingos raise one leg?

Because if they raised two legs they'd fall! #dadjoketherapy

Wife told me to quit acting like a flamingo. So I had to put my foot down.

The zoo I worked at fed tomato paste to the flamingos to keep them pink, otherwise they would resume their original white color.

I wondered why no one has fed them for other colors, but nope, they store in their flight feathers only metabolites of β-carotene, all red.

Is that healthy? I've never heard of using tomato paste....

I thought brine shrimp made them that color and thought that should be their diet.

The chemical can be in other things too

In the wild, yes. In a zoo setting that is impractical, they got by fine with specially made pellet food. Mind you my experience is circa 1974....
