Not only does it keep them entertained and gives them company but it helps slow the deterioration of the mind and body.

Social worker? Or rec therapist or therapist assistants. Kind of weird for a social worker to be doing recreation in the health care system I work in anyway

These would have been awesome during lock down with the kids. So much fun.

Dexterity exercises disguise this games. Perfect for older folks that need to exercise and socialize

I'm 100% going to try some of these out at the older person home I run. Awesome

He's not a social worker, he's an occupational therapist iirc

I’d volunteer the hell out of this NH.

Now I feel guilty for never doing anything fun with my elderly mother.

This guy sucks. He keeps losing to these really old people.

That first segment reminded me of those little plastic cubes with ball-in-hole puzzles inside them. (I wish there was a way to word that that would actually make sense, but these were very nondescript puzzle toys.) You had to tilt and/or shake the cube until every little steel ball was in a niche in the inside plastic sheet.

We have failed the old people of our country, maybe even more than they have failed us. A damn shame.

Not a social worker, right? Either physical or occupational therapist.

These are amazing to keep their minds sharp, dexterity, reaction time etc. Bravo

This looks like fun variations on some of the stuff I've done in physio rehab and occupational therapy

Please do unmute. The music is "snowfall (Sped Up)" by Oneheart & reidenshi (per Shazam). Very chill.

I've heard this song so many times on Instagram but never knew what it was. Thanks 👍

Most likely a (very creative) occupational therapist and not a social worker. But not gonna lie - he's damn good at his job either way!

This is physical therapy my guy

occupational therapy more likely. Physical therapy is usually in the realm of recovery after an injury, occupational therapy is to maintain mobility or strengthen for everyday activities or quality of life. There is usually at least one occupational therapist at elderly care homes, schools, and hospitals.

There is another way… Be like this guy and visit the old folks. Find ways to have fun together.
