I mean her dad seems like quite the blast/party animal/action man to be around as well. Absolutely no surprise she turned out like her dad. Just she did it in a time/era where it was very frowned on for young ladies to act this way. He honestly probable didn't even dislike her rebellious streak other than the headache it gave him from badgering over political image from party/outside of party. That was a pretty good way for him to say "I have better things to do than control my daughters life."
