I collect magnets shaped like the countries and states I get them from, so then I have a map of the world on my fridge

Try-hards are slightly annoying

That cat has better taste for art and knowledge than many humans.

I love this

I only have one but it's a good 'un: "Early Sunday Morning" by Edward Hopper.

My cat's favourite: Munch The Scream!

Im pretty sure the cat can see them. And that is what the post caption says.

Very weird comment

Couldn't even write your own hate nonsense, had to get an AI to do it for you.

14 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but the art is so cute!

16 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You're not educating anyone, and not ingratiating yourself by coming out with a baseless and pointless insult. Do better if you have an opinion or shut the fuck up.

One doesn't want an uncultured cat, obv.

They lick their own asshole, so it's already an uphill battle.

14 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

So?…. A lot of people lick other people’s and they enjoy art

12 hours ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

When I grew up, "kiss my ass" was an insult. How the turntables.

7 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I see Edward Hopper in the bottom left and above must be an impressionist

13 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Might be Wheat Field with Cypresses by Van Gogh

8 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And Rembrandt self portrait.
Bottom left minus one row and one column

I didn't check further than the one picture menitoned. But there's also Van Gogh self portrait, top right. And of course, kinda centered Vincent's Starry Night.

I didn't even know museum magnets are a thing

I have a family tradition of collecting magnets from places we’ve visited…it’s a nice cheap souvenir but you can collect them at all the fridge and then you have a spot to reminisce in the kitchen. Not quite the same as a magnet art gallery but one of my favorite traditions nonetheless.

Check out your local museum. Just hang around a while and try to ignore looking at your phone. The ambience is pretty nice.

Yeah, I feel like I could've had quite a collection by now if I had known.

I don’t know if it’s a ā€thingā€ but all museums have lots of them. Nice souvenirs to remind you, don’t take up much space either.

13 hours ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Darn I usually collect shot glasses for souvenirs. For some reason I cant remember where I got most of them .

I have one. It’s a Van Gogh; a copy of his painting, ā€œAlmond Blossomsā€, which happens to be my favorite of all his paintings. The Van Gogh tour came to The Museum of Fine Arts Houston in 2019. It was spectacular.

We had the immersive Van Gogh Experience in New Orleans a couple years ago, it was awesome.

I love that one! I have a framed print hanging in my hallway.

Lucky youšŸ™‚

I went to that exhibit at least 3 times. Fellow Houstonian here.

7 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It is such a lighthearted and hopeful painting from a man who struggled so hard.

14 hours ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Nicely put!

12 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Do you think cats would like it?

10 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Sure. It’s basically a flowering tree - draw in a little bird and they’ll stare at and chirp for hours!

4 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The one in bottom right corner? Seems like the owner of this fridge is a Van Gogh fan as well.

10 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Also Starry Night in the middle

10 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And the Sunflowers, and the Autoportrait.

8 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, self portrait top right

8 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And the Van Eyck: the Arnolfini Portrait
