There is no way taxpayers won't end up footing the entire bill. Him and his father were notorious for ripping off the government and never facing any real consequences. Minor fines at best that amounted to a discount "lawbreaking fee"

My bet is the donors will give the money to Trump's charity first, that way Trump can claim he paid for it and then ask to be reimbursed. And if he doesn't pay in the first place, he essentially gets paid twice and leaves the bill with the US taxpayer.
