The need to fit everything into a team-sports box is so fucking cringe. If your driving principle is "my team wins" above all other principles, it's part of the reason we are in such a fucked up political landscape. Forces like social media make people fall into this top-down instead of ground-up priority or principles. Republicans are much quicker to give up all other principles to prioritize "my team wins", but that doesn't mean everyone should.
