Your his uber(or he thought so) - you must take him to his destination to receive the reward.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It wants your fish.

He might have a quest.

The timing on these live action remakes is getting nuts. 'The Boy and the Heron' only came out like a year ago.

night heron

On my phone it first looked like the bird was standing in the crosswalk and not on the handlebar, and I thought ‘you’re right, I wouldn’t get near that thing either’

Hood Ornaments are making a come-back.

Great blue herons Nest together in rookies in the trees. Out here on the West Coast you can always hear them raising a den. Very hard Birds to photograph as you can't really get near them when they're out standing around looking for fish

Looks like this is from Japan, so the task is pretty clear here: Whip out your paper and brush, then paint it!

2 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That is clearly an 8 foot tall bird standing in the crosswalk.

This reminds me of the huge wood stork that was blocking the path at Gatorland in Orlando. How do you make him get out of the way without upsetting him?

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Looks Zeus has a quest for you

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you must solve his riddles before you may proceed

The great Heron has chosen you for this task, do not disappoint.

Your word is, “Heron.”

You have a feeling you would have been followed

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I egret nothing!

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're going nowhere, from heron.

Shame they’re using the Nazi AI to translate

Can this bird be hugged? Is this a huggable bird?

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't think they're particularly aggressive beyond nest defense, but they got pointy beaks and can stab you with it

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Birds aren’t real. Thats a government spy drone.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Exactly. Look at those long antennas. That's your typical B1-RD 5G range extender.

Omnidirectional burbs are the worst

Looks like a Great Blue Heron

Herons, stilettos with wings.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its a black crowned night heron.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Eh, it's adequate at best.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I would have said Night Heron.

Birds perching on bikes has always been a strange case to me.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Doesn’t look like Gil Scott-Heron

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It’s definitely a heron but I’m not sure it’s a blue heron.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

More like a Great Blue Heron My Bike, amirite???

2 weeks ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Not just Japan's wetlands. They're all over temperate Eurasia

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

It doesn't look that great at being blue. Unless that's its emotional state?

2 weeks ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

Could also be what happens at family friendly bars after 11 pm

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Most blue birds aren’t blue by normal pigments so in low light the blue isn’t nearly as visible. Blue herons aren’t generally vivid blue to begin with (more grey-blue like a cloudy sky) so in low orange-yellow light it’s not surprising the blue isn’t very visible.

I think he lost his drill...

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If the OP is a boy, I believe the heron is trying to take the Boy to a magical world where he can meet his mom before she died...

2 weeks ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Fun fact. They call it a waterbird, but it's actually sort of a predator. Apart from fish, they also eat mice, frogs, ducklings and even baby bunny rabbits.

2 weeks ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Fun fact, horses also eat birds and mice. Everything is on a spectrum.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A true dinosaur

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah they hang out around the shore. I think they'll eat just about anything they can fit in their mouths.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bet it would eat a human baby if you offered it one

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If it fits, its food. They're all just limited by the size of their mouth and stomach.
