The nerf-like padded ones hurt like hell. Don't practice with wooden ones, dumbass.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Loved this. Much happy now.

Wham bam right in the clam

The one with the skateboard was part of an old Loading Ready Run sketch about artificial virality on the early internet for those wondering.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

could not stop laughing...seeing im not the only one whose gone through the pain

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The most fun I've had all day

This is the byproduct of having Michelangelo be the funniest of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why did that dude get kicked in the nuts after the fact?

Is.... is that Pam....

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 4

No, Jenna Fisher has tigger biddies and a much smaller penis.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Was gonna say: The real question is why Pam is on the roof in a bikini wielding nunchuks. This feels like an extortion from Dwight.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hard weapons are hard to control

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

First one looks like Pam from the Office

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This GIF needs to be longer...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A friend once got arrested for having a pair of these in the backseat of his car here in San Jose

Leather trench coat. Shirtless w/ camo pants. Polo tucked into sweatpants. What else did I expect?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The skateboard nunchuck one is the gif that just kept on giving.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's the LoadingReadyRun comedy group if I remember correctly.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is what we like!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

This why I prefer gofer-chuks

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Chosen One!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd love to get good at the Nunchaku, but as they all come standard equipped with ball seeking tech, I don't have the heart to try.

9 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 2

You'll hit yourself in the head/face way more than in the balls, but it sucks either way.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Use a cup?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've got the heart but not the balls.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Even if you did, the above gifs tell me you wouldn't for very long.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

...was that first one xev bellringer?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same question that i didn't dare to ask

Same question that i didn't dare to ask

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The skateboard one was done by some friends of mine, LoadingReadyRun. They do comedy and have a twitch channel. That video is mega old.

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

I thought I recognized that scene! When was it, 2007?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah! I wasn't too far off. All that Jpeg made Graham look younger for some reason.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

CommodoreHustle ftw!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Like fine wine, LRR seems to improve with age. (Except for season one, of course.)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Adam!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was thinking: Is that graham stark!?!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Adam!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

3rd dude's friends are straight up assholes

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

3rd dude was wearing a cup. It was staged. Graham Stark is the one getting kicked. Morgan vanHumbeck is the one kicking. Loading Ready Run.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ah, okay, context is key. Thanks dude :D +1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My name is Paul. I don't gotta rap. I just stroke my beard sayin' nothing on the track.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

have done martial arts most of my life, nunchaku come with a HUGE learning curve and it gets worse as you get better becasue they get faster

9 years ago | Likes 414 Dislikes 3

My brother is a pro at nunchucks. Been doing it for 15 years now. It's insane to watch.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I took months learning tri-section staff over nun-chucks........I have no idea why. It was so painful and difficult...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty useless weapon compared to a bo-staff or sword.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And every crack to the head slows down learning drastically

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nunchaku but every time you learn it gets faster

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I quickly moved to using a pair made of solid oak. Yes, it hurt. Yes, I never made those mistakes again.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But bruce lee could play ping pong with then, so i want to do that too!!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Personaly, i have never find them usefull. It doesnt excel in any aspect above other weapons.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's why you use facking training nunchakus...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I never did too much with my nunchaku after a few years but I never once nailed my balls with em...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep, just started and i HATE that Kukiwon makes you learn these things, The fuck's wrong with a simple staff!?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Same, I stopped very shortly though. I cracked myself in the head one too many times and My other weapons are a lot easier to control lol

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But bruce lee could play ping pong with then, so i want to do that too!!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is why Michelangelo is thought to be the most smiled out of the four turts.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This is true, and I should know.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd be the most smiled too if all I did was eat pizza

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

How the hell did it autocorrect skilled to smiled?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You know he's smiled out because of the herbs before the pizza.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Never got the payoff. It takes tons of practice, easy to hurt yourself, and unless you're Bruce Lee, a big stick works better

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

It's more if an art now days

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The original point was that they could be concealed and weren't banned as weapons. Now it is more about practicing for fun.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm sure there are upsides/downsides as with all weapons. These just seem like more practice = less skill than with a staff

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

harder to conceal a big stick.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Excuse me sir, are those nunchuks in your pocket, or are you packing a tackle like a moose?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Do you want to look good or do you want to fight good?

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Haha, hard to do either after a solid thump to the testicles

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I've done various weapons training for 4 or so years. Nunchaku are one of the hardest to get a proper handle of.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Are they actually any good as a weapon though ? Better than what and why? Thanks !

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bind a sword or staff with the chain maybe. You get lots of power from the speed of the swing. Somewhat concealable...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you know how to use them they're ducking awesome. Super hard to defend against since you can't tell where they're going to come from

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At least in the movies people seem to spend more time hitting themselves than actually doing battle with them

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

anything in the right hands is good enough of a weapon. The problem is practicality

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How do you mean ?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nunchucks aren't exactly practical vs a gun. or really a lot of other weapons. But it's almost always skill vs skill, the weapon is an ext

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok guys I have an idea...Nerfchaku....eh, EH?! I'll see myself out...

9 years ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 0

They have 'em for practice, but the weight is low (to reduce injury) which screws up the rhythm, so you have to learn again on "real" ones.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that's what i learned with.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I actually have a soft rubber training nunchaka. It really does help.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They make actual practice ones too. Yes this is a thing.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

That's not a terrible idea. Something soft, but weighted similarly so you don't knock yourself out. I bet that exists somewhere.

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

They do exist

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Padded training 'chuks. They still hurt.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I had some when i was little. They didn't have much weight, a foam tube around plastic, but they worked like a charm!

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

the problem with foam weapons is you tend to get carried away with them becasue, they are light and super fun to hit folks with

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

How is this a problem?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

then the insides have to be made of metal...still hurts.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have padded wooden training katanas. Can confirm they still hurt when hit and can bruise/KO. Just not quite as much damage as without.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

yep
