Not every Trump supporter is garbage. Yes, obviously the Nazis and Proud Boy types are. And yeah, if you accept the cruelty, hate, questionable allegiance to the Constitution, sexism, xenophobia, and stuff just because you think he has some coherent policy you like...you're a garbage too. Of course the folks who see him as a means to their religious ends are trash as well. But once you separate those shitheads out, there's probably a couple truly stupid people who just don't know any better.

I genuinely cannot imagine a single person who would even hear "Trump supporters are garbage people" and decide "I'm gonna become a Trump support!" if they weren't one already. At best this is giving the people who were gonna vote Trump but call themselves centrists an excuse to jump up and loudly proclaim themselves Trump supporters and pretend like it's because of Biden instead of the racism/misogyny/whatever they actually like.
