do. not. mutilate. dogs.
do not normalize mutilation of dogs by sharing videos with cropped dogs uncommented.

The best dog I ever knew was a Doberman. My mom found him in the barn one winter when I was 3. He passed when I was 13. RIP Rex, you were more like a brother than my actual brothers.

O.o I was wondering why it sounded weird

I don't know why people want to keep such a dangerous animal in the house, around other innocent animals no less and no harness in case it attacks the other. Hope the poor doggie stays safe.

I had 2 pibbles in my home while I fostered orphaned kittens for many years. While I separated the kittens for safety reasons from my dogs it didn’t take long to see that they knew that kittens were just babies and they loved their very supervised times together. And yes my dangerous dogs lived in my home and were cherished but lived with rules and limits.

I've known two pibbles personally, one is Hank and the other, Chuck. Chuck was deadly, but from his farts and not his bite. Hank is just a dense boi (the kind that drum when you give em a solid pat) and lives for two things, scritches and treats. I've been hurt worse by small dogs lol

You got me in the first half...

A lot of Dobies are gentle, tolerant giants. Had 2 Dobies, at the same time, that put up with this same size kitten antics.

My pibble sleeps curled up with the cat on 3/4s of my bed. Im good with my 1/4

My pit mix would just smoosh our cat with her face when he was that little. Now they run around the house. It's super cute. IDK why conservatives are always so worried about cats and dogs living together, like it's a bad thing?

Cats and dogs living together works fine if you give the cats and dogs time to learn each other's habits and get to know each other and trust each other. You can probably see why conservatives hate this idea, especially as they try to drive a wedge between $ethnicGroup1 and $ethnicGroup2

They are natural protectors. If you are in their trust circle they are cool and tolerant. If not, run.

This. 100%. I've seen it and the effect it has on people that aren't in the circle. Fucking awesome.

My buddy had 2 super sweet but JFC if you came to the door as an unknown person I’m not sure the door was enough protection. I felt sorry for all the mail people lol

You'll never outrun a Dobie, but I get the inference.

Well, dogs are territorial and usually dont chase humans to injure unless you try to harm their own. In that case, dont run just take it, you PoS.

Dogs yawn to reinforce that the activity they’re engaged in is play.

And cats play silently. If it thought it was real fighting you'd hear it down the street.

They also sneeze for the same reason!

We left our dog with a friend overnight. "She's sneezing a lot, is she okay?" "Is she looking you in the eye right before or after? Yes? She's doing it for attention, don't worry"

I always told my sister's dog that he was allergic to me.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or are stressed out. The yawns look the same.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

This, though usually my boy is panting a bit then yawns like this. I would know his stress signs vs play better than I know random dogs I haven’t raised.

Send photo of your yawning pup :) Or just general status pup.
