He stepped in front of the vehicle to stop it from leaving. He stepped to the side when it began moving forward. The murderer leaned forward over the hood, from the side of the vehicle, in an attempt to shoot through the front windshield. His two followup shots were through the side window, while he continued to stand next to the vehicle. Nothing he did was because he feared for his life. It was a visceral reaction to her not obeying unlawful contradictory orders.
Considering who the FBI's been primarily used on throughout it's history I'm not certain that I'd take any consolation said agency - seeing as the FBI at their nicest "tries to get civil rights leaders to commit suicide" and at their worst is "Being directly responsible for a firebombing of row-houses in the US" - Are ICE evil, unnecessary and vile? Yes. Is their forebearer? Also yes.
Lack of proper being and training? No, these people are definitely being chosen for the purpose of being the administration's thugs. These "flaws" are seem as desirable traits by this administration.
With background experience in traffic control on highways and interstate you don’t wonder around in traffic lanes … the facts go much further… now comes the training that you describe… I get upset trying to describe what I see at fault in this instance…
They seem like they are shifting angles and position and oscillating a bit to me but it could just be an optical illusion idk. It's just eyecatching in the "what is going on there" way
43/46-year-old Jonathan Ross of north-east Minneapolis murdered Nicole Renee Good. He deployed to Iraq with the National Guard and has worked with Border Patrol and ICE since 2007. His wife is 37/38 and her parents live in the Philippines. He attempted to arrest someone last June, was dragged 300 feet (91m), and 33 stitches. Did he just try to reach into another driver's vehicle?!
I remember listening to NPR while eating Chic Fil-A and they talked about the most likely people to cause a civil war are ex patriots and the ones most likely to go vigilante are young men returning home within ten years of their combat experience…..
^^. Likely. Why wouldn’t they? It’s not the MS13 guys protesting. It’s your white uncle who generally doesn’t “go in for” politics. They know what comes next and it’s a large populist backlash, and they know how to survive that for the time being — crush dissent such that it worsens the lives of the protestors considerably to be caught protesting. Now, “Worsen the life of your average American” is a tall ask, so “Just shoot em” is a good second.
Even with the 30 days of security forces training on received in the military I learned you NEVER put yourself in front of a subjects vehicle. You should never CREATE a situation (whether intentionally or unintentionally) that may lead to your feeling a ‘need’ to use deadly force.

ICE is being sent to Blue States to murder citizens - either directly or in custody.

Vetting? Fuck no.
x1xruex1x
Exactly, I've seen adverts on imgur and Twitter to sign up to ICE for 50k. They aren't being anything, guaranteed
Hatsodoom
Oh they're vetting alright, just not that. They want loyalists who will simply ask "who do I kill".
kraeftig
Is it just me or is something weird happening to that coffee cup as he talks? particularly the words on it
Squaba13
The words are legible for being so small. They go in and out of focus, but seem normal.

Ooops, there goes your pension retroactively.
julle7589
Better without pension than with agents shooting citizens on a whim.
johndoejersey05
The murderer was a 10-year "veteran." This wasn't the result of lowered standards or a lack of training. This is 100% a cultural issue at DHS.

Republicans have been saying they want to shoot leftists since forever. It always really confused me how that was just always accepted.
Aliubi
So years of "you're surrounded by the enemy" training doesn't play well in Minneapolis?

i.e., they are being deliberately trained to kill protestors and dissidents.

To make its recruitment quota, ICE has removed all age requirements and cut its training program length in half.
