Buy a car

Bankrupt yourself during these trying times.

"From the safety and comfort of your own home", don't worry thought, well send our peons out.

And companies paying millions for ads to say thank you to their "frontline" workers instead of actually fucking paying the workers they have

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Twitter for clowns

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In fairness, if it all does fall apart you're going to want a Toyota:

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the UK, Toyota were running a "in a zombie apocalypse, get this toyota" radio ad... they stopped before the pandemic...

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pride month is in little over a month from now. Gonna be interesting to see how much they support they LGBT or if they're gonna hit COVID

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Makes me think of house hunters. She’s an artisan pudding shop owner, he’s a retired private in the military. 3million$ budget.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Hahaha ya with some others. Mitsubishi says, our locations are disinfected and waiting for you. Because we care

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Let's not forget the "I just drove in with my new Ferrari, and next to it, my other Ferrari. But BOOKS!" or however that stupid thing goes.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Quickly followed by “this is a difficult time... buy a Toyota or Jeff gets fired.”

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

All the "deferred payment / job loss protection" car finance ads I'm seeing lately doesn't bode well for the credit market.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If I didn't buy one when I could test drive it, you think I'm going to buy one by mail order?!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Imagine how few cars are being sold by shady used car dealers right now.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Good! Let them sleazebags fold!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Toyota has sales goals and NOTHING will stand in their way!

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This is a difficult and uncertain time for all of us...buy a Toyota before you die.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"yOU HaVe tO SUPpoRt ThE eCoNOmY!" Shit started to get old about 30 years ago for me. I never bought a new car.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Leslie, shut your fucking pie hole!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Toyota's a bad joke..."Hey our service is open , we Care". All the rest are defering payments, making ventilators, etc...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And all the ads talking about thanking "Frontline" workers trying to make us think of this as a war so that when hundreds of (1/?)

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

(2/?) working class people and healthcare workers die it can be painted as a noble but necessary wartime sacrifice instead of being seen as

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

A completely avoidable genocide carried out by incapable and selfish politicians using the world stage as a dick measuring contest

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

IN THESE UNCERTAIN TIMES

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm tired of the hero chatter tbh. You know why I'm working 60+ hours? Because in the course of the last month I've become one of the top

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trained employees in the warehouse as other employees take time off for the virus. Then I became a trainer and all of that involved payraise

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And doubled overtime. It's literally to just benefit myself. It's not for your benefit and the constant chatter is getting annoying.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's been great though. Learning new processes keeps me busy, if I do something for a couple of weeks I'll get to a point where I get

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Extremely bored and it just becomes tedious to keep it up. I don't mind doing things, just the same thing for every day.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nobody's calling you a hero, though?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't forget Lexus's: "when we started we quickly realized that we weren't in the car business. We're in the people business. So buy a car."

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How about use the ad dollars to pay your staff. They're clearly not prompting people to buy cars

6 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 3

We've been paid for 6 weeks off. going back next week with new mask rules.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Marketing budget, not HR budget. Can’t give marketing money to HR, otherwise I lose that money for next year’s budget. Corp. budgeting ftw

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Next year's budget is long gone

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The ad time was likely bought long before the pandemic.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It absolutely was

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Toyota are actually taking way better care of their employees compared to other carmakers.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Every ad today: ukulele music + celebrity voiceover + still photos of people hugging + heart hands + (SPEND MONEY) + "were in this together"

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Accurate

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If there's one way companies have show they can respond quickly to this crisis, it's by producing new commercials.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

^this

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Frankly I've been in need of a new car so now is the perfect time to buy. Not because I'm hurting, but because the deals are amazing

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Agreed, but would you be prompted to buy a car based on an ad about how "we're in this together"?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No, but I wouldn't make my choice based on the ad either way. I'd base it on the car

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I personally wouldnt. Its condescending and greedy. Their whole PR team cater to asshole CEO's tho.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I'm waiting for "You'll probably be dead tomorrow... so buy a toyota today!"

6 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 0

I understand the problem here, but the people working at Toyota are considered essential but have major pay cuts if they don’t sell cars.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol commercials are for the rich.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, commercials are for the poor. The rich can buy premium services that don't have commercials.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

if you have reliable income right now, it's the best time ever to buy a car. Holy shit 0% interest for 72 months AND no payments for 6.

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

I always imagined 0% would be for 1 year tops wow

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

72 and 84 month loans are a bad, bad idea on a car.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 4

I've never had to take a loan on a car; do tell.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You'll have a rapidly depreciating asset that will be worth less than what you owe for even longer.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Ah, so nothing super special, just the usual problem with car loans.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

at 0% interest it's not. Invest the money instead of sinking it into the car.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

72 month loans are stupid at any interest rate. If you need a loan that long you can't afford the vehicle.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Depends on how the interest is calculated. 0% interest can just mean deferred interest, which can absolutely wreck you. Read the fine print!

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

But you have a rapidly depreciating asset that is now going to be underwater for even longer. Sure, the low payments are nice, but you're

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Extending your risk factor out several more years. A lot can happen to the vehicle or your life in that amount of time.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

If you have reliable income, with 0% interest for 6 years, and if you're able to pay it off before then, is it really that bad?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you bring home $350.0/week you can afford a $30,000.00 automobile.. No, you cant.

6 years ago | Likes 728 Dislikes 4

Pay cash. It’ll cost less.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Seeing car companies for what they are, vultures.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That’s nothing, in PA we have a local jewelry store advertising something along the lines of “in these uncertain times...buy fucking jewelry

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Depends how much cash you put down...

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A dealership marketing that figure here couples it with a nickel down. 5 cents..

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But they said no payment for 90 days because they understand your situation.... buy a Toyota.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Tell that to the thousands of people who do. Then cry about not making a living a wage.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Just 17% for the life of the loan! Which is 119 years.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you only knew the ridiculous loans people get themselves into and the default rates. The government should be raiding car dealerships.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pre owned with a 5 year loan at 7% ?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One should not pay more than 10% of yearly take home pay for an automobile. Any more and it could end badly financially.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

What? So if you bring home 100k all you should buy is a 10g ford with 4 tears left on it? Pssh get outta here.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Years*

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Do you mean 10% of your pay in payments/year or the actual cost of the car? Cause those are very different things...

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Bad news for u buddy I make 52k and can’t afford to buy a new car, that payment even if you own it insurance

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I don't plan on buying a brand new car ever because it's just what my dad taught me.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bought my car cash, it's 12 years old and I've been pretty happy with it.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck insursnce on a lease holy shit, insurance because u own it cheap because it don’t cover shit

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And you want to insure your new baby, leasing a vehicle means the ins is so expensive

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And car payments for years in ownership on a car that’s five years old even with cheaper ins your car ain’t worth shit

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You can, you just can’t afford rent, utilities, phone, groceries, etc

6 years ago | Likes 343 Dislikes 0

All those things sound less important than a Toyota to me!

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Toyota will last longer

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

*totals Toyota before eggs run out* WHAT NOW?!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You fix it, Toyota's don't just get totalled.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You can live in a car but you can’t drive your house

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Not "in these uncertain times"..

6 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 0

The "certain times" will come any day now. Probably just after everything trickles down.

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Just like the moon, mmmm trickle down planetary collisions.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My girlfriend turned into the moon, I hope she doesn’t get hit.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As an essential worker I hate literally everybody who says “thank you “ to me.

6 years ago | Likes 526 Dislikes 20

My mom and my bf are too. I tell them "I'm so sorry"

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Literally. Ok, Edgelord.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But...But I've always said thank you! Even before this mess!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks, you're doing God's work

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

Thank you

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Do your job.

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

you do your job!! lol

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

fuck off then

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

thank you<3

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you for your honesty.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

I haven't missed a day through this shit and I can't even get a "thanks for not dying yet."

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm with you.....but I've also yet to get a thank you. My job didn't even get one of those google doodles. (Better pay woule be better tho)

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You should smile more.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Heh, tyfys

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What would you like everyone to say instead?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you've got a nice dick?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you. Thoughts and prayers.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Holy shit, guys. I just made a random comment on Imgur. I don’t have the answers. I just have complaints. For those of you actually 1/

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wondering how to help. I have no idea. For this of you hating on me because I have complaints: suck my big fat cock.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But...you're the streetwise Hercules

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You should get paid more. A lot more. If I had the power to do that, I would.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

thanks, nerdywordy

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Might as well join the military reserves while you're at it.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Honestly as a essential worker it makes my day when I'm told thank you, especially more so since I've also had to endure more 1?

6 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

People cursing at me and trying to leave workers in while keeping the public out because they try to sneak in...2/2

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Same here. The other day a guy said he appreciated us and it made my whole day

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok so if you open a door for me or anything thats remotely nice ill just say fuck off.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cheers cunt!!??

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

<3

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then get a better job so you can be unemployed with the rest of them

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Thank you

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

For the last time, Steve, you handed me a jar of pickled beets. What am I supposed to say!?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh. Then,... go fuck yourself?

6 years ago | Likes 170 Dislikes 2

Only if you join me

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Do it yourself coward

6 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 2

I can say thank you AND support policy and companies that will provide better pay and working conditions for their employees.

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Does your occupation have anything to do with your user name? Cause I may not thank you, but I may applaud.

6 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

I get it. Usually feels not genuine and condescending when people "thank" me for just doing my normal job. I didn't do anything extra. IDK

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

why it bothers me so much, but it does.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm IT, essential to the company I work for. I'm still getting bitched at for slow internet at end users houses. Wanna trade places?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I always fucking hated how if things are perfect it is worthless and if something is wrong it is bullshit. to me its always pebcak

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

That would be a fun way to angrily thank people.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As a truck driver, I agree. Can I opt for being shown boobies instead?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that would make my day easier

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As an essential employee myself, I agree. And it’s super fucking annoying when they don’t take there change (1/2)

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

because “you’ve touched it” like bitch I just touched everything in your cart!!! (2/2)

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

My mom works at a grocery store and she tells me horror stories like this. People are cunts

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I work at a SuperTarget in FL. Can confirm, people are cunts.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

THANK YOU for your SERVICE during these DIFFICULT TIMES. God bless you, HERO.

6 years ago | Likes 117 Dislikes 3

Lol

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

...and buy a Toyota!

6 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Thank you for your service

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's even worse if you're in the military ?I appreciate it, but I don't know how to respond and really hate hot touchy/Feely people be.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can shower in a room full of people. try to touch me and I might have a panic attack.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So quit your job and join the rest of us that would rather be working instead of having daily panic attacks about WTF to do about bills/food

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

how does not wanting to be placated equate to not being deserving of my current occupation?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Thank

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you, buy a toyota

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

What defines you as an essential worker compared to everyone else still working?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Uh. People that are working right now are ALL essential workers.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That’s my point

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We should just be calling ourselves workers, not jacking ourselves off with this “essential” bullshit

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's not like any of us really give a shit if we're essential. Nobody calls themselves that to feel important, the terms a joke

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the government

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Right, how do you figure that?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you

6 years ago | Likes 361 Dislikes 2

YOU MOTHERFUCKER

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Saw that coming

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As an Essential worker, I'm jealous that everyone gets to stay home.

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Fucking truth

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m essential and I got sent home. Turns out my special computer can work outside the office

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Many of those people are jealous of your income.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Not everyone has high pay. Restaurant workers are also essential and they get paid minimum wage.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Minimum wage is better than no wage.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now you know how all the Vets feel.

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

fuck. too real

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ain't this the gods honest truth.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

1) Without knowing he nature of your essential work I assume people were not thanking you previously? So either something unseen...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2) like lab worker, or a meat inspector. Or beyond arm's length, like a garbage collector or letter carrier? Or worst...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

3) someone "beneath" their previous notice? A cashier, a nurse, a caretaker, a bus driver, a teacher, a delivery person, etc...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

lots of assumptions

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Admittedly, yes.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you honestly cared you’d try to get us better pay. Instead you just placate us to make yourself feel better for being out during a /

6 years ago | Likes 117 Dislikes 14

It's the thought that counts... because actually doing something is waaaaaaaay too much effort :)

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

woa now, we already thanked you. let's not get greedy. /s

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm a fucking underpaid customer support employee at a dying software company. How could I possibly get you better pay?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

vote.org

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

How exactly would I be able to get you better pay? I can boycott, that’s not going to help you. But I will stop saying thank you.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The common consumer couldn't give a shit, go form a union, only you and your fellow workers can make the difference

6 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

I would. But I don’t like the idea of someone having a say in what I do outside of work. I.e smoking weed

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Stop relighting on top down fixes and get together.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yeah, lemme just organize an EMS strike which would directly lead to the loss of life and limb of innumerable people. Our employers know 1/?

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

we have no leverage over them. And frankly, they don't get paid enough anyway to pay us enough because Medicaid and Medicare are broken.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I have zero ability to help you get better pay. But I do share memes about how corporate america is fucking "essential" workers. That count?

6 years ago | Likes 83 Dislikes 1

You don't have zero ability, you have almost zero ability on your own. Capitalism destroys social bonds and the ability to organise.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Hahah yes. Thank you.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You don't? Do you not vote?

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

Yes, I check the box next to the lesser evil every 2 years, for what little that's worth.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, yeah, I voted. That means I can signify my help by not saying thank you, and they should be grateful for it, right?

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I didn’t even get to vote in the primary, and it’s already called for my least favorite candidate other than Bloomberg. It feels pointless

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’ve voted in every election since I could vote. The two candidates are extra terrible this year, and both sets of supporters are toxic.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol he thinks voting works

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

If voting didn't work, the richest people in the world wouldn't spend so much money on campaigns

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Explains the shit storm we're in worldwide, dontcha think? Trump got in through voting, Tories in the UK, Brexit...

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Global fucking pandemic. <3 thoughts and prayers

6 years ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 7

Yup. I hate these idiots.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

People are just trying to be nice. Stop whining

6 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 6

"Don't forget about me!" - Anthony Jeselnik

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh shit! People trying to be nice in a situation this fucked up. How fucking dare they. Better pay? Your lucky you have a job you entitled

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Prick. Some people don't have money for food. Better pay. Fuck.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

It's why through this whole pandemic I've been tipping food delivery people extra.

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Your comment made think of this. https://youtu.be/tkD4xSqNVII

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This might be an unpopular opinion, but there are those of us who are trying to do both. Why generalize everyone and hate us being grateful?

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

It’s easier to hate than to find a middle ground. I know it isn’t sensible. But this is also just a random comment I made on imgur

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Feel the same way about “Thank for your Service”.

6 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

The majority of people just refuse to think for themselves. My parents wanted me to be this so I will!!! My parents religion is this ! 1/

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

So it is mine as well! Idiots. The lot of them

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I always phrase it like, "What can I do to thank you for your service?"

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

And then I listen to what they have to say.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That actually sounds like 10x as unnecessarily personal and invasive.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

What can I as as consumer to to influence a retail worker's pay? Do you have suggestions? I say thank you because it's the only help I know

6 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

How to offer. I'd welcome better suggestions.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Same here - I have voted for who I thought would do good by you, but is there something else I could do?

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

As a consumer, no one can do anything. The industry has to be forced to change through stricter laws.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

But this poster hates people who say thank you because they aren't helping, so I want them to tell me how I can help.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I might argue that as a consumer, we are the only ones that can do anything. By voting with our money. Capitalism thrives on complacency.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There's a lot of research that shows boycotts don't work unless they are supported by law

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I suspect that they would just begin layoffs.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
