I still have hope another channel will pick it up

I know it came back on Netflix. But let's be real, the Netflix reboot just couldn't compare to the original Fox show

I feel BSG was fairly complete but a great show none the less.

What about terra nova?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Um... Battlestar Galactica ran for exactly as long as they intended. Futurama came back and had a beautiful ending.

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

SGU, it ended on the season that’s regarded as the one that got good. SGA too.

This was a good show.

Pushing Daisies

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Am I the only one who thinks Futurama could be ruined if it's picked up again?

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

NOPE. I really hope they don't keep making episodes for that very reason.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Also Dead like Me. Good show.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Almost Human

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Oh man, and it had set itself up for such a cool second season too

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Fox sure likes to green light sci-fi shows just to axe them immediately. They even played the episodes out of order.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Arrested development isn't over. They're currently filming season 5 and going back to the original format. There is still hope!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

But original AD did end. Netflix seasons don't really count the same way.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Original format?! There's hope!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And this gem of a show

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Forgot Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, Pushing Daisies, Raising Hope ...

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

All of these.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wonderfalls was wonderful

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Netflix gave Bob and Dave another season of "Mr show" and syfy bought Futurama

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

But where's our Community movie, there's already six seasons.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

No Pushing Dasies?

8 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 2

Or Dead Like Me...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I was going to mention this

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That one hurt. It was even doing well! But then the writers' strike, justified as it was, completely killed the rhythm.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Futurama doesn't belong on this list. Had it not come back after the first cancelation sure, but it did.

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 2

Futurama ended on its own terms, they weren't cancelled or taken too early. Show was around for years.

8 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 2

You forgot Psych. And My Name is Earl. And Raising Hope

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

I hated my name is Earl lol it was total trash in my humble opinion

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Psych got an ending and it's getting a movie.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

c'mon son.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I kinda liked Jericho...

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Jericho was good. Sometimes uneven because few episodes were bad but overall really good.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me as well. Felt a little like twd without the zombie,s errhmm, walkers.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me too. Apparently it was continued in graphic novel form

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Me too. I'll have to check thaty out

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Forgot Dead Like Me

8 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 2

I have got to say, it is not a very good show, it feels like something that should have been made in the early o mid 90s

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

how dare you

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Lol, I tried I really did, I watched the whole 1st season on Hulu but it was just bad.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pushing Daisies too.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The writers strike kinda killed that one, shame thought it was funny and clever

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Don't forget Dark Matter

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

The producers are trying to get Netflix or similar network to pick it up, season 4 could still happen.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Unfortunately those negotiations all fell through already, near end of september. Off the table for now, but maybe a miniseries some day.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wait, no season 4?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They announced its cancellation at the beginning of September. So no season 4. :(

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

wtf? really?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really. They made an announcement about it last month. :(

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Unreal. I just read his blog from Sept 1 to now. No word on Netflix either. Netflix you're our only hope!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

its cancelled ? I'm at episode 8 of season 3 ... don'T tell me its cancelled !!!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Check out https://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/ one of the creator's blogs they've got a thing going where if you send them a letter, you

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

could win a prop from the show.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No season 4. :/

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I sent my letter today. I'm not worried about winning a prop, but that would be nice. I sent them something nice.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No love for SGU ? https://media.giphy.com/media/wgEjk0hozjGuY/giphy.gif

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Down vote me, but I liked SGU 10x more than all the other SG series.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

It got a lot of flack, but I really loved that show.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

so bummed when it was cancelled. I didnt watch the 1st two series in the SG universe but loved the movie

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I liked it very much. :)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It got flack, so probably not, that's what happens when you shove a Lost like story into stargate, Atlantis ended too soon. Miss them both

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I came looking for this. Yes!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Upvoted for Ugly Americans

8 years ago | Likes 114 Dislikes 4

I miss it more than Firefly.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 151 Dislikes 3

Hell, yes. This show made Westerns modern and fun to watch again.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Supposedly - supposedly - the movie is back in production for '18 release

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I never could afford HBO but I actually just picked up the complete box set. Looking forward to getting started this weekend.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's a great ride.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh man, I just finished that a couple days ago. Heard there may be a movie in development, so hopefully that'll pan out!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Timothy Olyphant <3

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Deadwood was a good show. I never heard the word cocksucker used so many times though...

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Tough to get time to watch now- got a 6 yr old and a 13 yr old in the house. They hear enough bad language at school...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Google deadwood cocksucker. Great compilation.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

v

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Taught me Chinese. I still hear myself say occasionally: "Sweargin. Cocksucker!"

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Swedgen, cocksucca!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Deadwood was historically accurate. Season four would have sucked.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Why?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Everything was resolved, hearst went to SF and made his fortune. Complete chaos was avoided in the end and people went on with their lives.

I just watched this!! Holy crap was it before its time

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Came to say this. Beat me to it. Cheers.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I liked this show but could see why I was cancelled after the second season.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Memeberr... when it was in Netflix? Memeberr...

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Memeber when there were less Mexicans?

And pushing daisies

8 years ago | Likes 108 Dislikes 0

These two are the ones I'm most sad aboutm(obviously excluding Firefly. That atrocity will never be forgiven.)

Pushing daisies was awesome.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Jericho anyone?

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Gone too soon. If only Ned could revive it...

i loved that one

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Never seen it, is it worth the watch?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Eminently so. You will laugh. You will quote it.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You will love Veridian.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

they know where you live

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Honestly, and as a huge Futurama fan, that show ended when it needed to.

8 years ago | Likes 247 Dislikes 4

Yes. Couldn't agree more.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Best ending to a series. Incredible ending.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

twice

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Groening said he'll continue Futurama if someone will pay for it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Should have ended after the 4 feature lenghts.. season 6 and 7 are trash

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Finally a kindred spirit. The features weren't good either.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Are you kidding? Season 8 was the best. My two favorite episodes are in that season

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We don't need Futurama to come back, let it rest as a masterpiece and maybe get a 4K remaster in a few years

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Cried like a baby and not ashamed

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Such a great ending honestly. Loops right back to the start.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

For reals though! They closed the loop! They can't go any further than that!

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I couldnt agree more, Anything more would be an insult to the true ending the show finally got.

8 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 1

But even the cast says they left it open ended on purpose, and would love to see it come back!

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 4

I'm not 100% certain but I saw a rumor SyFy was picking it up. Not sure if to re-run it or continue it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Rerun. Sorry duder

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh well, good to know at least :D Thanks for the info, citizen!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They did an episode recently where it was like a radio play. I enjoyed it and it fit into the game they put out.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Radiorama was awesome! I enjoyed it, too. The game not so much.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

BSG lasted long enough, they just weren't given enough time for a good ending. Futurama ended perfectly, and Netflix didn't do AD any favors

8 years ago | Likes 374 Dislikes 6

Oh how I miss Boomer

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You are so incredibly correct. I was going down the list like... uhh, nope, great ending, great ending, Netflix AD sucked...

8 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 3

The characters weren't themselves. George Michael too confident, Michael too whiny, Funkes weird swinging, Green screen backgrounds....meh

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nah. Futurama had years of hilarious plot twists left. It was definitely cut short.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 40

You seem like the kind of person who brews your coffee grounds twice.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It had potential, but they had a great run, and we're worried about running oo long. They definitely could have done more, but what if-

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They failed? Think about scrubs for a sec... Futurama had an amazing ending.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It would have turned into another Simpsons situation

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Maybe after a few more years. But I think there was some steam left yet

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

Simpsons was a slow decline. Most people didn't realize how bad the decline was until a couple years after it really started to suck

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe so. But we'll never know. The good part is we have an enormous episode library to keep us company

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't get the hate for the "Arrested Development" Netflix season.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Well it's terrible, there's that.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

I hated what they did with Maeby.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It felt like they couldn’t get all the actors in the same place so they worked around it. The whole original charm was the family dynamic.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Same. Looking forward to the next season.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It just wasn't half as funny. And in my opinion, they made Michael too weird. He was supposed to be the normal one we can identify with

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He became whiny and clingy, unlikable.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Spot on

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

BSG had a shit ending because the writers were literally making shit up as they went without planing anything. They got the 'final four' ->

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Yep - they had the writers strike - ruined many great shows with crappy second rate wrìters.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it was really obvious they didn’t have a plan.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

cylons' by picking names out of a hat.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I finished bsg literally ten minutes ago and yeah, ending could have been better.

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

in my head it ending after season 2. never did finish the show since season 4 was god awful

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I really liked Caprica - but the same thing happened, they had to cram 2 more seasons of content into a half season to wrap it up.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I also feel like they compensated by creating all these questions, and didn’t really fully answer them.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So say we all, I guess

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

I... I liked the ending.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Really improved on that quote there! ;p ”So say we all, or whatever...”

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I think it fits the ending they gave us.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Agreed
