first one ftw

These are all generally satisfactory amounts of leather and steel.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

UGH, I hate to see woman in skimpy armor like this. None of them offer any protection against even the smallest depleted uranium tank shell.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#17 has some high powered armor right there

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

go through this album while listening to power metal

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's going to be two comments. The thirsty ones and the triggered ones.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Exposed midriff isn’t very practical.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

#4 is me (just google "annethearcher" and you'll find me) and I'm so amused at the comments! Haha made my day!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

im just sitting here thinking, you all in chain mail gunna have issues with your hair getting caught

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I have long hair and chain mail, can confirm, it's not a good combination.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Same here. You habe to bend over to geht rid of the chainmail and you will loose some hair with it

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'll let this one slide, but next time include Xena. +1

8 years ago | Likes 84 Dislikes 7

Well #15 has her armor and weapons..does that count? It's not the glorious Xena but inspiration was gleaned from her.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm glad I'm not the only one who caught that!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

All posts should contain Lucy Lawless, honestly.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

2nd! Do we have a vote? All approve say "AYE"!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I could have a body like that, but the box of cinnamon toast crunch i just ate wont allow it

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure #1 is a rogue, not a warrior

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

I haven't read the series that she's cosplaying from, but I think there's sort of magical dominatrix agents of pain or something.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

She's a Mord-Sith, basically an anti-wizard. Using magic against her allows her to control it herself, basically.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#10 #26 Wowza, those are brilliant pics.

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 4

They were actually taken by an amateur artist who was ‘discovered’ because of them. He then worked on the Wonder Woman advertising campaign.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

I dig your angle.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My personal favorite is the one where the lady is standing on a bridge... the one with the antlers and the ax.... It looks so elegant...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That awkward moment, when at least one of them is a porn star...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well, some are warrior women. Others are models in silly bikinis.

8 years ago | Likes 101 Dislikes 8

Don't forget to tips your fedora

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Not even good models. Like what the fuck is she grabbing, there is no way that brick wall is that sensual.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think some of them are from bare maidens

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

yo, I'm pretty sure they're all models.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah, I knew some smart-arse would say that.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#13 is wearing a pillowcase and the sword looks photoshopped in lol

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Now I really want to see a battle between that handfull of properly armoured gals and the boob-plate-brigade. Will their numbers save the->

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

brigade or will the weakness of their defenses be their undoing? Find out tonight, at... BITCHFIGHTING XTREME!

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Brigade would be demolished come on now :P

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good girls go to heaven. The best women go to Valhalla.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Here, here.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Please help! I’m a dudesel in distress!

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

The only thing I could think of was the horrifying amount of mosquito bites they're going to get with that sexy armour.

8 years ago | Likes 96 Dislikes 2

Yes that, and the horrifying amount of death.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i was thinking less mosquito and more arrows to the chest ad abdomen

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Hello new fetish

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Top armor in the game, covers very little vulnerable spots

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It is a game afterall

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Most of them would quickly fall victim of their insufficient armor.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 5

That -and you could have dragging them by unrestrained hair.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

or just push them over with their incredible low weight and lack of any real muscle definition

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I count a grand total of 3 actually practical sets of armour, and other practical outfits in this album.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 8

What bugs me more are the 0 practical physiques.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This might be more to your liking: https://www.reddit.com/r/armoredwomen

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you want women in real armor: https://www.reddit.com/r/armoredwomen "Injury isn't sexy"

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fuck, I found another one. A fetish, that is.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is giving someone a new fetish a good act? If so I've done my good act for the day. :)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, aren't you observant

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I count more than that.... #1#3#4#12#16#26

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Was not considering the cape and head circlet on the last one... so scratch that too...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That was meant to say 3 practical sets of armour, and 2 regular outfits. #3, #12 and #26 for armour, #4 and #16 are good, but not armoured.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I cringe at #3 . All that hair + chainmail = painful new haircut.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't possibly imagine #1 being comfortable or practical outside of a BDSM club.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

but.. the boob-separating strap? that’s just 100% comfort clearly

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure that strap is supposed to be keeping the gorget in place :P

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Leather was a common material for armor... the corset may be a little weird, but it adds an extra layer. Also think about motorcycle wear...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

evidence for leather armor is scarce. it existed, but its availability and effectiveness is questionable. Definitely not like #1

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Leather armour (or riding gear) isn't thin, skin-tight leather, though, which this clearly is.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The only reference as to how thick this is, would be the shoulder thingies and the corset, both which are rather thick.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

You know what I love about #3 and #4 especially... those chicks could fucking kill you. Functional entire outfits and arms are fantastic.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Honestly, I think we're safe from #3 wearing twice her weight in chainmail. Just walk away slowly. #4 s got some sense though.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol, I got that feeling too, but I didn't want to discount the fact that it is, in fact, functional chainmail, not cosmetic. I've studied a

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

bit of English Medieval Martial Arts and gotten familiar with the feeling of being stuck by a practice sword. Metal Skin counts 4 something!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#4 is actually a complete newbie with axe and shield, but could murder you with a bow! How do I know? Cause that's me.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nice! You got the badass stride w/ the axe down at least. Although, if we could skip the murdering me in either fashion that'd be swell.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#1 The Sword of Truth is a series that needs more love.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Even if the writing is good, and I don't think it's particularly good, Goodkind's objectivist bullshit is such a turn-oft.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I think the first book is the only one worth reading so far. It had a clear beginning and end to it.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The next couple books had some interesting ideas, and I liked the concept of Jagang, but then Goodkind went full retar- er, Objectivist.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I agree, though it's also always bugged me a little just how much certain elements have in common with things from Wheel of Time. Which is >

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

> a polite way of saying 'ripped' or 'blatantly copied', though I read SoT before WoT and so I didn't notice until a reread.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#6 does movies

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

In that armor? Just curious

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeahhh... She seemed different from the rest.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What gave i away? The crappy green screen? The pornstar enlarged mouth? The uncovered nipples? the crappy cosplay? The crappy quality?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was the fact that she is a pornstar. But those too lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What makes you say greenscreen? That's just a super-giant horse.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or she could just be an extremely tiny human

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#1 Ah, Cara from Sword of Truth, where the books are a billion times better than that crappy "Legend of the Seeker" series.

8 years ago | Likes 391 Dislikes 14

The creator of that series said it was his one true regret, just before dying of liver disease.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Glad this is top comment, gives me some small hope for the literary world. Fuck all these haters in the comments, though.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

She’s my favorite

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

"Thats... thats from the Wizards First Rule, isnt it?.. *screams internally* "

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That author had some weird shit rolling around his head.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I didn't even know there are series. But that can't be Cara can it? Isn't Cara blond?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's cosplay dude

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Mord Sith and the Mother Confessor. Mmmm.. Damn It -

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Still, I'd like the series to have a final season. Not every thing has to be made for adults, kids loved the show

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've only read Pillars of Creation and was immediately like BELT! STRAPS! ROD! RED LEATHER! RED! LEATHER! and it's just as I imagined ; ~ ;

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The books aren't very good either, especially once they become nothing but political rants.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

It seems like all my childhood books like sword of truth, enders game saga and the dark tower get shitty adaptations but yet a shitty 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Book like hunger games, maze runner and others get faithful adaptations or better adaptations..

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The show was unbelievably awful, but holy shit, those books were garbage after the first one.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I lost my shit at Panis Rahl. Who names one of their characters Panis?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Hells yeah! Show was huge let down. Books are always better. Same with Ender's Game btw.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They didnt even get her character right lol she was pure D'Haran which means blonde hair blue eyes

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well the show is actually better than the last few books...

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Agreed so much

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Amazing series. Loved it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'll admit, I thought it was the mercenary reds the Adem wear in The Kingkiller Chronicles

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Gotta look into this now

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There never was a Series...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

i dont read books but i really enjoyed thr show :(

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Actually where I got my chosen name from. Cara is such a badass. Best character by far. Also lets not talk about that show.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

That's... that's actually kinda hot.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I guess M&Ms won't do?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah, candy is fine too.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Damn you Sam Raimi

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I damn Terry Goodkind for his "ok" to fuck around with his stories for that series.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well he had Hercules, Xena, and army of darkness..... Unfortunately he also had Spiderman

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, Army of Darkness can balance out a lot of crap... but not what he did to Sword of Truth.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

True, but when Terry Goodkind said okay, he had not done Legend of the Seeker yet

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The books took themselves too seriously for how bad they were. The show was pure fun

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

I can think of one thing I really liked about the crappy TV show... Bridget Regan.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Bridget is beautiful, no doubt. I'm a Tabrett Bethell fan myself. <3

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Shall made it worth sitting through that awful TV shew adaption

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Legend of the Seeker? What's that? *tries to force out any memory of that horrid abomination*

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I absolutely loved the show, b/c I watched it first. Thanks for the reminder to read the books! Can't wait.

The are rebooting the show with the original cast!

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I can't find any legitimacy to this comment, source?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

And yet neither was particularly good. OK, first wasn't that bad, but then he just retold variations of the exact same story 15 more times.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Cara is toit as a toiger!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The only good thing from that show was that costume design

8 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 3

And the women that wore them.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And the opening action sequence in episode 1. That's it though.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seeing that costume is probably the 1st realization I had that I wanted to be hurt a little by a sexy woman.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

Lol absolutely

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Best part, my then crush (now wife) is the one who got me watching this. At the time I wondered if there was some hidden message there

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

...well? Was there?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I started to like the books....then LOATHED the author endlessly preaching his Objectivism. Dear lord god on high.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

UHH YOU DONT ENJOY HOW HE HAS THE ONLY NICE HOUSE ?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The author actually killed himself after a heated argument with his SO ABOUT Objectivism.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 12

That’s just not right at all...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

But does that make it Wrong?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just checked the username, my bad

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I see you are also a man of taste.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

*culture

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I beg your forgiveness. My mistake.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Submit to Cara immediately for your punishment.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

With the utmost diligence and pleasure.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mistress Cara. Don't forget the appellation.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

First thing I saw and thought that’s a fucking confessor. Well I’m glad that series had such an influence on me.

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 7

You’re all right. My bad guys it’s been 15 years since I read the books.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yea clearly not you fucking muppet... that’s not a confessor

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Never read the books, started the show.. then GoT premiered. Never finished it.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You are not missing much.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Cara was a Mord-Sith (leather). Khlan was the Confessor (white dress).

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

Lol damn phone.. "Kahlan".

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I just imagined Kirk shouting "Khlaaaaaaaaaaan!"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

almost compulsively corrected you. Glad you took care of it yourself.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

With 100% more Communism-curing statues, evil chickens and morally reprehensible protagonists... I loathe those books.

8 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 19

LOVED THE FIRST ONES, CLOUDY EYES DUDE JUST ANNOYED ME

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The first one or two were ok. Then they wandered into terrible political fiction.

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

I loved the first couple books when I was a dumb teenager. It was around the anti-communism statue that I began to dislike them.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

.....good lord I forgot about the evil chicken. That whole sequence was spooky as fuck.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

it was just stupid

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

They are normally grouped by before and after the goat (pillars of Creation) since that book is pretty bad and it's downhill from there.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Pretty much past the 1st book is downhill. He just added a loop-de-loop by Pillars. And the BDSM in the 1st was over the top.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah I read those a long time ago and only later did I understand the hardcore right-wing political allegory.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

Hard core? I suppose you think 1984 and Animal Farm is alt-right stuff then...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Commie stuff. Not altright.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The protagonist literally goes to a "socialist" nation and fixes a town through the power of personal responsibility.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The antagonists wanted to kill everyone with magic(money) because not everyone could have it. Very thinly veiled right wing politics.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is not to say that the same hasn't been done the other way around. I just like politics out if my little fantasy.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Found the "Real communism hasn't been tried yet" guy.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 6

Oh there are plenty of problems with Communism irl, but Goodkind's version is a strawman parody at best.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

OPs criticisms are a fair cop. The anti-communism was laid on _thick_. Rand couldn't have made it thicker. Not wrong, mind you, just _thick_

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Books were SUPER preachy though. CAPITALISM GOOD. JESUS ALLEGORY IS GOOD. Try Wheel of time. Or Malazan book of the fallen.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Blood and bloody ashes, have an upvote.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Malazan book of the fallen is great. Wheel of time is also great as long as you can make it through the boring 3 middle books..

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ooooh, Malazan is an awesome series!! Whiskeyjack for the win! And of course Kruppe.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes! The warrens. the giant undead scytheblade-handed ancient dinosaur hive minds with flying fortresses. man, never said it out loud before

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a handful, but it makes it realer, which is cool. And the Warrens are the shit! Kind of like The Ways from the Wheel of Time series.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

WoT had the threads, and the different weaves that sexes could use, and the slight interplay made it believable. mal had a cool past-eutopia

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can anyone explain the psychology of why this is hot? It is, I'm just not exactly sure why.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 5

Weird isn't it?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

It's called being scareoused

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Yeah but I'm not frightened. I'm just aroused.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

ayyyy

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well said, Sokrates.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well you can see for yourself how many people here just didn't get it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Confidence is attractive? Biologically, a strong woman = healthy = healthy offspring, also protective woman = good mother.

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 4

I think that's probably it. Immediate evidence of strength and (at least presumed) skill = will produce strong offspring.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Death by snoo snoo. That's why.

I dun wanna die tho

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mostly the sexy outfits filled with sexy women. Notging actually classifies as armor here

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

they're definitely not called clothes though

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

guess technically a leather jacket is not a Cloth

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No Fred, leather jacket is a cloth. That rogue in the photo is wearing a piece of leather armor.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Leather armor"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A woman who can kick your ass it's pretty attractive. I don't think any of them can, but I'd like to think otherwise.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not sure that makes much sense, but yea my original comment was a bit immature. I guess that's what you were trying to say.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was just thinking how as nice as it looks, most of the armor here is pretty hilarious

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

I know who I'd fight along side with and who I'd fight against at least.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Agreed, whenever I see women in oversexed/impractical armor they seem less attractive than the ones wearing practical armor

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I see women in oversexed armor as sexy.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You mean you like practical ones more than fantasy ones?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But the armor is too low-leveled. It would never work in real life, covering up that much skin.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

It is not real life, it's fantasy

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Some are dressed for battle, some for the bedroom.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

And what's the deal with the one wrapped in a curtain? Always amazed at the work goes into some of these

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

That one made me laugh because I imagine her trying to fight while holding it up.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can't beat the trusty battle curtain when things get dicey

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Common sense is so much sexier than "being sexy."

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Being sexy is sexy

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Some of them look like they spent more time putting on their makeup than their armour.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

It is for photo shoot, nobody wanna see disgusting, ugly models.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's your opinion and that's alright. But claiming "cringe" and "unrealistic" is idiotic. If one can accept dragons&wizards&orcs, and 1/2

even WoW-style male armors, but draw the line at exposed midriff... They don't have a problem with armor, they have a problem w/ women 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeeeesss, corsetssss and tiny metal bikinissss and pantiessss are the bessssst armor!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

They are, they caught your attention. It pays to be attractive.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I was about to say, I expected all of them to be sexy stupid armor, but only about 3/5's were.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

In my mind, the practical is the one used in combat and the sexed up is ceremonial, so they can have both. That's what I've decided.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Couldn’t agree more

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

which practical ones? 90% of them are too small to lift their weapons

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

They do.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You ever think something and think hey ill comment that but then read the top comment its what you where about to say

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

some of these look legit awesome. and some are just plain stupid.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good for you.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Look here for women wearing proper armor (most of the time) https://www.reddit.com/r/armoredwomen

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nah, I'm here for the sexy armor

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As much as I like corsets, wearing on in battle dissent seem smart.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You read my mind

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Practical can mean thin though. Chainmail is a bugger to move in after a while.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Ladies in practical leathers ftw

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

cause you want to peel it off!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yeah i cringe at any armor with an exposed midriff, it's just so stupid.

8 years ago | Likes 188 Dislikes 13

It's fucking costumes. They're not going to medieval warfare. Take the stick out of your ass and calm down.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 19

Or corsets and plate that goes in one piece over the whole torso

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"I'm fully protected from head to toe!! No really, just my head and toe. Fuck my vital areas in sexy."

8 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 2

Don't think of them as armored women. The clothing is just for distraction while they nimble around more heavily armor male opponents.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

None of them would last a second in battle anyway, so how does their shirt make anything more or less believable?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

It's smart because they're for photo shoot.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I agree, though deliberate clevage is even dumber. That is literally the most important area to protect.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Even i - with my 2 year old knowledge about swordfighting and melee - would cut idiots like this wide open.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I like to imagine it as amazon court dress. Their leaders can't hide any frailty beneath finery and the metal symbolically marks them as >>

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

warriors. In war, they wear proper armor. "You thought we FOUGHT in that? What are you, an idiot?

Here https://www.reddit.com/r/armoredwomen

I now have a reddit where I can post my practically-designed-lady-armor-drawings! THANKS

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*Scroll scroll* One hit & she's dead *scroll scroll* Where's her arming cap, that maille's worthless *scroll scroll* that's not armor at all

8 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 4

You mean *take attractive photos* good job!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

level 7. level 7. level 3. oh, midriff, that's level 18, at least. level 7. level 1 wizard with sword back-up.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Long, loose hair and long fingernails everywhere.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To be fair it’s female warriors and not realistic female armor which in itself is modern, very few cultures actually allowed women to fight.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Shieldmaidens was a thing with the vikings and female armor is just like male armor... Armor. It's just females in armor... god

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The women are also unrealistic. Long, loose hair and long fingernails aren't going to be fun to have in a fight.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Those are sidearms. If you lose your swords you scratch the enemy and when your nails break you try to strangle them with your hair

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They all 'allowed' them to fight, but they weren't first round conscripts. That doesn't mean we can't have realistic female armor now tho.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Chinese empire and the ottomans didn’t. And in the Middle Ages I Europe most women weren’t even allowed to own any weapon.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yup, but... they were allowed to be spoils of war, you know slaves, raped, throat cut, etc., so there's that. There's a problem w/ allowed.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm talking about more when the main army is routed or defeated, last ditch fighting to protect their family / village.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I like sexy armor outfits and practical armor outfits

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Hey, me too!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Seems like we're the real winners, huh

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sure you do. And I bet it has nothing to do with the recent popularity of realistic female armor. You're so progressive.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yeah less is more does not apply here.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

thats what i was thinking until i got to the 2nd last pic. Changed my mind rapidly

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Honestly, #3 is just a really good look.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Aye, also really like #26, assuming that's a full length shirt as well (looks like it, plus that owl is cute)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Beautiful picture & my fav look

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love the look, but I've always wondered; wouldn't long hair like that get caught in the chainmail?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yes

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It really depends on the design.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think the one that looks best is whoever wins the battle.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

They one who looks best is the one who looks best.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, #6 looks shitty in battle. At least she'll make a pretty corpse.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

She made a good model

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that depend where and how she will be cut

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agreed, I'd let #1 hurt me just to get an up-close look at the leather... wow!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I loved the books in the beginning but by the end it got pretty preachy and spent WAY too much time debating morality and philosophy.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

notthisagain

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What practical ones?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The ones with exposed midriffs and long hair and fingernails are obviously BATTLE READY!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Definitely not the horned helmets. That's just a handle someone can throw you to the dirt with

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

But it's good for photo shoots

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was coming down here to say the same. Went through and the ones that had practical use were neat; half naked ones? STUPID.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

nah, they know what they're doing

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You know what make a good female armour? you wouldn't know it was female when she has a helm on.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

It's subjective

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Not really, barrel chest armor is designed to direct blows away from the vital organs. Armor made to look feminine doesn’t do that.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

For battle yes, but for sexy fantasy female warrior photo shoot, a sexy and/or feminine armor fits the criteria better.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You wouldn't want to see a warrior women with barrel shape torso in Conan now wouldn't you Larry?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Eh, but how cool would a battle accurate show be!? I’d be into it. :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love the antlered woman on the bridge with the axe. Looks badass and functional (other than the really long skirt). Small axe though. :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The skirt is probably the most functional bit and the axe is ridiculously oversized for use in combat.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The axehead atleast.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not if you're using it two-handed, which since she has no other weapons, is likely. And if so, the haft is way too short.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Even two handed it still got one too many axe blades

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The double-bit/double-headed axe has been around for thousands of years.
