Use to work in an icecream palour, faulty freezers are a nightmare. Nothing like smacking your hand on the metal because its too hard.

We had multiple freezers and fridges throw fits, the worst is our ice cream machine who throws temper tantrums on a regular basis

We never had the issue with machines/dispensers, ours was proper scoopable dairy icecream. We put the shit flavours in the faulty freezer.

Put the scoop in hot water

Place the carton of ice cream in plastic bag/ zip lock when in freezer. Ends up softer, not rock hard.
