It's theatre, it will do NOTHING to those coming in under federal work. This will help expose bad actors at the state but this wont do a damn thing to ICE.

I don't think it is enforceable against genuine ICE agents, but most of the ICE group aren't agents but contractors. So that is enforceable.

Chermerinsky is like the king of the Legal Formalists. I've seen him speak; he's impassioned and compelling and I'm sure he'd have no problem convincing any random liberal technocrat of the correctness of his argument. I assume there will be loopholes for say, gasmasks when facing teargas? if so ICE will just tear gas people before they detain them so they can stay masked up.

If it passes, it means it's absolutely open game on any ice who's wearing a mask. Don't argue with them, don't call me out, wait until they are distracted by kneeling on someones neck and plant your steel toe in the side of their face or neck. Make sure you use your hips to give it some force.
