I've never cared for Boebert.
Full text:
We’re asking you to give $1 to help Democrat and retired Navy Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher defeat Lauren Boebert. And no, that’s not a typo.

Our next fundraising deadline is at midnight tonight, but we’re still very short of our $50,000 goal and what we need to send Boebert packing this November.

We know that $1 might not seem like a lot – and to be honest, it’s not. But when your $1 is combined with thousands of other grassroots donors also chipping in to defeat Boebert, $1 can have enormous impact.

$1 lets Eileen fill the tank in her car as she drives across the district, meeting with voters who are fed up with Lauren Boebert.

$1 lets us invest in staff and critical resources needed to build a field and organizing campaign strong enough to win.

$1 lets us fight back against Elon Musk & his Super PACs and hold Boebert accountable.

And $1 lets us take the lead and flip this seat that could decide whether or not Democrats take back control of the House for the next 2 years.

If everyone who sees this chips in just $1, we will hit our fundraising goal and send Lauren Boebert packing once and for all this November. But Eileen is counting on you to give right now if she’s going to defeat Boebert and flip this seat blue:

Please, will you give $1 monthly right now to retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher’s campaign – more if you can afford it! – to help defeat Lauren Boebert, flip this seat blue, and take back the House for Democrats?

I want her to win. Come on Eileen!

It's all about money? Why can't you vote because of policy? What's wrong with US (people)?

First question every one should ask. Does she take money from the AIPAC, if so immediate no.

Outstanding... Emerald Award. Let's get this on the FP so that even those who fear Usersub can participate!

Multimillionair military vet who homeschooled her children, wants to 'reach across the aisle' for bipartizanship, and was so disgusted bij Jan yth 2021 that she switched to Denocrat in 2025. Super legit, uh-huh uh-huh.

So, zero policy positions other than "flip the seat blue"? From a lady who it certainly seems was a Republican right up until the party shifted a bit too far right, so now she is valiantly going to call herself a Democrat and shift that party right even further? No thanks.

The worry isn't how good our candidate is for this seat. It's that it's a super blood red seat. Trump won CO-04 by a 58-40 vote. Even in the 2018 blue wave republican statewide candidates were winning CO-04 by 20 points.

Donating to candidates is good, but the biggest impact is by focusing on people who have less "exciting" opponents but are in more winnable seats. Go to Sabato Crystal Ball or Cook etc. and pick some tossup and/or Lean R seats. Your money will go a lot further.

Within the primaries at least, I think we can be more discerning.

This is NOT the way. Republicans are insane because they are in safe districts. Contributing to a broke-ass district like CO-4 to put Republicans like Boebert on their toes is still valuable and has political impact even when Dems don't win. Meanwhile, these same voters are still being asked to vote in a national election for a party that you are suggesting should abandon them for financial practicality. Abandoning people for financial practicality is the Republican ideal you nut.

Losing to candidates in safe districts by smaller margins doesn't make them less insane. You make their party less insane by removing them from power. That is done by focusing effort and resources on seats where victory is reasonably doable.

Making Boebert win reelection by +8 instead of +15 or whatever won't make her sane. Winning the house with 20-40 pickups, winning the senate, winning governor's offices in NV, GA, and IA, winning a trifecta in WI, AZ, MN, MI -- that will make a difference.

The best campaigning she can even do is literally do nothing and let BoBo keep making a total ass out of herself lol.. never interrupt an enemy etc etc

Good thought, but it hasn’t worked with her previous reelections

sadly yeah

Is she affiliated with AIPAC or its many other shell PACs?

All that I can find is Trisha Calvarese, another Democrat, slinging mud.

This is the question to ask

This comment on the current top comment would suggest she might as she was registered R just before launching her D campaign

Yeah, she will 100% pull a switcheroo. Trust a feral snake before I trust a politician.

There was a post on reddit claiming she was a lifelong republican before this

I’m not defending or advocating for here here, it could go either way. Before this she was a high ranking military officer, you don’t get that way without saying the right things to the right people in the right way - and for a woman to make it that high 🤷🏼‍♂️ It might’ve been wearing a mask, this might be the mask, it’s difficult to tell but does introduce doubt.

That may be true but with the republicans seeing the writing on the wall I worry about people flipping to dem to get elected then flipping back

The choice in the Democratic primary for this seat seems pretty obvious. https://ballotpedia.org/John_Padora_Jr.#Campaign_themes

Yeah, fuck this post. Vote for the person who hates Israel the most.

A 'Yes' is a yes, but a '?' could be anything. It could even be a Yes

1 week ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

This appears to be her only social media comment re: Israel, posted when the genocide was in full swing. She starts by bringing up the Oct. 7 attacks as if to justify the slaughter and mentions how imperative it is to secure the release the hostages. Not to stop the mass murder of civilians, mind. Says a lot about her views imho https://www.facebook.com/eileenforcolorado/posts/as-we-mark-two-years-since-the-october-7th-attacks-and-the-devastation-that-foll/122148734630870310/

A 'Yes' is confirmed information, a '?' is an unknown. It could even be a 'No', or a wiffly-waffly rambling non-answer.

https://www.reddit.com/r/ColoradoPolitics/comments/1nowblu/anyone_know_if_co04_dem_candidate_eileen/ If this is true, Laubacher used to be a registered repub who only changed her party affiliation to DEM shortly before starting her congressional campaign. Says all the safe things re: israel. Oct 7 attacks bad, release hostages, lasting peace please https://www.facebook.com/eileenforcolorado/posts/as-we-mark-two-years-since-the-october-7th-attacks-and-the-devastation-that-foll/122148734630870310/

Yes you do. Republican post 2015 = Shitbird. The few exceptions like McCain or Kinzinger exist for contrast.
