Badass Great Grandma has been restored! Here is my Grandpa's reaction

So yesterday I reached out to Imgur to help restore this picture from 1945 of my badass, plane-shooting Great Grandma. Kindness ensued.

JUST WOW. My lovely Great Grandma Rose restored to her original beauty. I was overwhelmed with this and I can finally admire her stunning wedding dress in all its glory.

So I promised a reaction from my Grandpa and here it is.

He was so, so happy to see this picture of his mother restored that he's been holding onto for so long. His words were "It looks brand new, she's beautiful, thank you, thank you so much."

Grandpa Dave's thumbs up of approval. He hasn't stopped talking about it for the past hour.

I just want to thank every single person so very much for offering their help and sending these beautiful images. I printed this one in the end as my grandpa loved the pic in black and white but I'll also be posting the sepia version for his sister!
