I got I new tattoo for the first time in three years!!!

#newtattoo #bodyart Sunflowers ? represent resilience and happiness in many cultures - it also happens to coincide with the conflict in Ukraine as it is their national flower. Personally I fucking love the video of the grandma throwing sunflower seeds and telling the invaders to put them in their pockets so that there will be a field of them when they are defeated. #supportukraine

Tattoos are very symbolic to me, I always choose the plants thoughtfully. This year I have been through a lot - I have survived. I am seeking happiness during an part of my life where depression is trying to take over.

I have had to learn a new normal, I’ve lost weight, trying to train my dog, my mother has been in and out the hospital and I’ve gotten a roommate. I am resilient. I bounce back, I have learned that I can manage chaos. I’m seeking happiness and try to bring it to others. Also sunflowers are just pretty.
