When Texas talks about "regulation" they mean they can shut off your water and power when they feel like if they think you don't deserve some in order for others to have it. There's always bullshit water and power restrictions. Their solution isn't to build the systems out more or solve problems. Just tell us to stop using so much. And, if they think we're still using too much, they shut it off to punish us. Utilities are becoming a control mechanism to keep peasants in line.
I thought this was real and didn't even bat an eye. I only saw the logo because I paused long enough to ponder what exactly a prayer system was in this context.

If they had made the article about Utah instead of Texas I wouldn't have even noticed it was The Onion.

Gerrymandering and idiots, unfortunately.

Because we have an inordinate amount of people with substandard educations. At least it's only 103°, right now, in DFW.

Where in Texas do you live? I don't know anyone that takes the public notices as anything more than a suggestion.

"Sounds about right. Oh, The Onion? I wonder how long until it actually *is* right."
BlueDsc
Even after seeing it's from the Onion I'm not entirely convinced it isn't actually real.
sarzaya
They need to make that Onion bigger. Cuz reality isn’t going to get further from such possible misjudging.
drspangle
Mostly unrelated question, but what's with the little plus below the onion's pfp? Is this a screenshot from one of the new social media sites?
